I am currently unable to host pets in my own residence, but I am open to short and long term house sitting in your residence. I will strive to not only take excellent care of your pets, but also to provide them with lots of love, attention, playful activity, and exercise (depending on the individual pet's needs and wants).

Information Nicholas H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what your pet's ideal daily routine looks like, including dietary guidelines and any specific health concerns. It would also be helpful to know how your pet will interact socially with other pets and humans, especially if you would like me to bring them to public spaces such as parks and trails.

A typical day

I will tailor activities to the energy level and interest of your pet. For more active or younger pets, I would be happy to take them on long walks or hikes. For highly extroverted pets, I can make trips to the dog park or one of the popular public parks. For pets with less energy or social proclivities, I will provide lots of one-on-one attention, petting, and comfort.

Pet care experience

I have always enjoyed the company of animals, growing up with a rotating cast of cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, and reptiles. My current dog is an elderly mixed-breed who is staying at a retirement home (my parent's house) due to pet restrictions at my residence. However, I have years of previous experience as her primary caregiver. I have also ocassionally helped friends and relatives with pet care and house sitting. I would be happy to take on any pet care jobs - young or old, friendly or cold. I am a very active person, so I would be thrilled to take high-energy dogs for long walks, hikes, or runs.

Nicholas is great with pets! He has been a pet owner since a child . He is knowledgeable , compassionate , and patient . He understood my elderly dog and her special needs and behavior . He enjoys taking dogs for walks , hikes , and playing with them ( and they love him!). Whether our dogs need a couch companion or high energy hike companion , Nicholas is the one we want . He is also great with our cat ! He has proven himself to be very dependable and responsive . We never worry about our pets when Nicholas is caring for them in our home .
