Downtown Dog Care
I once took a puppy off the streets in a developing country and into my home. I taught him to become a good dog for a home. I know dogs very well as my family has had one all my life. They bring joy to my life. I would honestly do this service for free.

Ratings and reviews
Nick was great! Reggie seemed really happy and comfortable with him, and I felt totally at ease leaving him in his care. Nick sent updates and was great about checking in whenever he wasn’t sure about Reggie’s quirks (Frenchies are.. unique), which I really appreciated. He’s also conveniently located downtown near where we live, so drop-off and pick-up were super easy. Reggie had a great stay and I’d happily book with Nick again.

I was Nicholas’s first client, and I’m very happy to recommend him. My dog Dolton is about 100 lbs, has some behavioural quirks and can sometimes be reactive, so he’s not necessarily the easiest dog to care for, especially in a busy downtown setting. Nicholas did really well with him, and I felt that Dolton was in good hands. Nicholas sent occasional pictures throughout the stay and was very responsive when I had questions or wanted a quick update. He was attentive and clearly cared about doing a good job and making sure he understood Dolton’s needs. I really appreciated the effort and care he put into looking after him. If Nicholas can do this well with Dolton, I’m confident he’ll do great with many other dogs too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to other dog owners.

Over the years Nick has cared for our 2 Great Danes and neighbour's cats and dogs. He has voluntarily taken a First-aid pet course to know how to act in case of emergencies. Most importantly, Nick has a genuine caring attitude towards all animals always putting their well-being first. Your loving pet could not be in better hands.

Schedule
I work virtually 4 days a week. I can be at home with the dog. I like to play volleyball and go to the gym. These hobbies don’t take more than 3 hours, so I will be home for most of the day. I also take a lot of walks on my own normally.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I will be with your dog most of the time. If I am not around, I would prefer to crate up your dog, unless you are certain that he will not chew on furniture. My apartment is near 2 parks, where I will regularly take your dog.
A typical day
Lots of walking. Watching TV together on the couch. Going to the park down the street, and sometimes the dog park 5 minutes away on Laurier.
