Nicholas was extremely warm and accommodating. With every picture he sent of my dude, I could tell Roach was comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend and will, hopefully, continue booking with him in the future.
Nicholas is fantastic! Westley was very happy when I got home and I could tell he was well cared for. The house looked great, too! Nicholas is definitely a good choice for caring for your pets—we’ll absolutely have him watch Westley again!!
This was my first time using Rover in NYC and truthfully was a little nervous, but Nicholas really calmed the nerves. I have a very easy pup to manage, but Nicholas still went way above and beyond with Walter, taking him on extensive walks, lots of play time, lots of outside time, and really great communication. Nicholas sent a bunch of pictures of his adventures with Walter and maintained great communication. He goes above and beyond, way more than anything I anticipated. When I returned, my place was in impeccable condition (truly felt he left it cleaner than what I left for him haha). He is a trustworthy person and I highly recommend him for any of your pets needs. I know I will definitely be using him again!

Pet-care is the perfect profession for me as a student because it allows me to combine my love for animals with my desire to work independently and manage my own schedule. As a student, I often have a flexible schedule and can easily work around my classes and studies to provide top-notch care for pets in my community. Pet-sitting also allows me to earn money while pursuing my education, giving me the financial freedom and independence I need as a student. Additionally, working with animals has been proven to have positive effects on mental health, so it not only helps me financially but also emotionally. Furthermore, pet-sitting gives me the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop new skills that can be applied to a wide range of careers in the future.

As a pet sitter, I provide a variety of services to meet the unique needs of each pet and their owner. The specific care I provide will vary depending on the service being offered and the individual needs of the pet. When caring for pets in their own home, I work closely with the owner to understand the pet's routine and habits. I also follow the owner's instructions on feeding, medication, and any other special needs. I will also make sure to keep their living space clean and safe. I will also keep the owner updated with pictures and messages, so they can relax and not worry about their pet while they are away. In addition, I am open to any specific requirements the pet owner may have, such as administering medication, special diet or exercise regimen, etc. I am also familiar with different breeds and will handle them accordingly based on their characteristics and needs. Overall, my main goal is to provide the best possible care for each pet and ensure that they are happy, healthy, and safe at all times.
A typical day
I am an avid dog lover and enjoy nothing more than spending time outdoors, walking and exploring with my furry friends. I find that walking and going to parks with dogs is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable experiences. I believe that dogs need regular exercise and mental stimulation, and I make sure to provide that during our walks. I also enjoy the tranquility and peacefulness of nature, and the opportunity to bond with my canine companions while exploring new trails and parks. I am attentive to the individual needs of each dog, making sure to keep them on a leash when necessary, and providing plenty of water and rest breaks. I also pick up after them and make sure they are not disturbing the wildlife and other visitors. I have a great rapport with dogs, and I can tell that they are comfortable and happy in my presence. The wagging tails, the happy barks and the licks on my face, are all signs of a good day for me. I also make sure to provide positive reinforcement and rewards for good behavior.
