Safety, trust & environment

I have a very large, double-fenced "organic" yard (no pesticides/herbicides since 2021) with lots of squirrels, dog toys, and neighbor dogs to keep your pup entertained all day long. There's a patio with doggie door for shelter on muddy days, and dogs overnight in a crate or roam free around the house depending upon owner preference.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Nicholas C. would like to know about your pet

Happy to manage medications, special needs, etc., but please let me know well ahead of time so I can prepare. I gently work on behavior issues to ensure good manners in my home (no paws on kitchen counters for example), but mostly I let the pups just play so I don't negatively affect any of their owner's training efforts.

A typical day

Days start with 20 minutes out in the yard, then breakfast, and then more time outside chasing squirrels in the yard. We do 20 minutes of "fetch" at lunch time, and then snooze and play indoors all afternoon. Boarders then get dinner, an evening walk, and more time in the yard after dark (when the rabbits and other critters come out!).

Big "organic" yard in Ann Arbor!

Pet care experience

I've been a dog owner and part-time sitter for 43 years. I've completed advanced obedience courses with Border Collies and German Shepherds, as well as herding, agility, hunting, and military training with several breeds. I now have a friendly Cattle Dog who wants to have a dog party with YOUR pup (who will come home happy and exhausted!).

Nick is amazing. Very friendly and it shows he cares for dogs. He worked with our anxious pup and us to make sure Sam felt comfortable. Thanks so much

Nick takes such great care of Cody and Cody is always happy and tired when I pick him up at the end of the day. Cody gets along great with Jester and they have a great time running around and playing in his nice big back yard.
