Pet care experience

Active, Reliable Dog Lover

I’ve cared for dogs for friends and family during weekends and while they’ve been out of town. I’m excited to begin offering boarding in my home, where I provide a calm, clean environment and focus on one household’s pets at a time. I primarily work from home, so your dog will usually have plenty of companionship throughout the day. I’ll carefully follow your dog’s normal routine and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

I've seen Nick interact with my dogs. They love him and he loves them. He's very structured, organized, has a well maintained and clean house, and a big backyard for the dogs to play in. He's very responsible and I'd trust him to take care of my dogs. In fact, now that he's going to be a Rover pet sitter I will ask him to take care of my dogs! He works from home so he will always ne there with your pet... no leaving home from 8-6 and leaving dogs unattended during that time period.

Schedule

I primarily work from home, so your dog will usually have plenty of companionship throughout the day. On the few days each month that I’m in the office, I’ll communicate that with you in advance. Outside of work, I have a flexible schedule and enjoy daily walks, so I’m happy to match your dog’s normal routine and provide regular exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home has a fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time, and I only board one household’s pets at a time to provide a calm, low-stress environment. I carefully follow each dog’s feeding, walking, medication, and sleeping routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to continue that routine. You’ll also receive regular photo updates and communication throughout their stay.

A typical day

I keep things simple and comfortable, with regular potty breaks, walks based on your dog’s normal routine and the weather, and plenty of time to relax at home. I also have a fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time and play.

Please let me know about your dog’s feeding and potty schedule, sleeping routine, temperament, medications, and any behaviors or special needs I should be aware of. I especially enjoy hosting smaller dogs, but I’m happy to consider dogs of all sizes. As a general house rule, dogs are not permitted on furniture or beds, though I may make exceptions for small, hypoallergenic dogs.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
