Looking after your pet like my own
I’m Pet First Aid trained and have been around animals my whole life. I’ve raised both cats and dogs since childhood, and for the past three years, my wife and I have been raising our chocolate Labrador, Bella. I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog as if they were their own. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing and happiness are my top priorities. I’m calm, patient and empathetic with all animals, and I understand how to adapt to their moods, needs and energy levels. Whether your dog is excitable, anxious or in training, I’ll tailor my approach to suit them. I’m also happy to continue any training routines you have in place. I pay attention to the small but important things like the weather, how much rest your dog has had, and whether they’re feeling bored, energetic or unsure. I adjust how I interact with them to make sure they feel safe and supported. If any issues arise, I stay calm and make sensible decisions with your dog’s best interests at heart. Whether you’re at work or out enjoying your day, you can relax knowing your dog is in safe, caring and capable hands.

Safety, trust & environment
If visiting in your home, I would treat it with the utmost respect. Fully able to play with your dog in the garden if you have one and if not, provide mental stimulation and happy to take them on a long or short walk as needed. If I’m feeding a dog I will make sure they have had the right break before and after exercise to lower the risk of bloat. They’ll always have fresh water topped up and will be in the right temperature to be safe and comfortable.

Nick is just fantastic with our two spaniels. He is a genuine dog person, you can just tell he adores them. However he is also extremely well versed in dog care. Doesn’t just spoil dogs, but actually focuses on their wellbeing and keeping them safe and happy. He’s very calm with the boys in all circumstances and is a completely trusted pair of hands.
Nick has taken care of my golden retriever, Chewey on several occasions. Chewey loves Nick, he’s always well cared for, gets lots of attention, cuddles and lots of walks. He’s always super happy to see Nick which is a big relief when I have to go in the office!

Schedule
I’ve recently finished my recent job contract (Head of Recruitment) and am taking time out to focus on what I really love, being around animals. If I’m sitting for or visiting your pet, they will have my full focus, I won’t be working or leaving them unattended. I’m not looking to do this to make money, but to keep myself and my brain active and spend as much time as possible with the best creatures on earth.
