Hi there I have cared for pets for over 25 years. I've owned my own as a child. I've also been reviewed on Trusted House Sitters and I've boarded aswell as been a live-in pet carer. My preferred service is drop ins and walking. I've got experience with both dogs and cats within UK, Ireland and Spain. I've cared for show cats (bengals) requiring sat-nav monitoring. I'm also a well reviewed Airbnb Host and have managed Airbnb host's homes for approx ten years. I adore all animals but have cared for mostly cats and dogs. I enjoy dogs who are socialised, like walks in nature, balls and/or snuggles. We go for trips to various parks and nature reserves. I do love a dog with a personality. I now unfortunately only take solo dogs and don't take dogs with behavioural issues! Sorry. You may get quirky little photos of dogs and cats from me or even the odd creative blurb if you're lucky. :P I do have a walled balcony which is safely enclosed yet I generally only let dogs use it for middle of the night or emergency morning pees. Supervised of course. I only take boarders who are cat friendly as I have one and she's dog indifferent really. I also do local house stays when required but mainly drop ins and walks. I cycle to my destinations further out and so need secure parking for my bike. :) many thanks

Niamh is amazing. She took the best care of our senior cat. I think our cat is a bit angry with us that Niamh doesn’t come every day for snuggles. Highly recommend her as a cat smuggler. ❤️
Niamh was kind enough to take a last minute booking for extra days (we originally booked every other day, but switched to everyday since things were going so well). I have never seen my anxious cat get along with a sitter so well and will absolutely book her again in the future. Thank you Niamh!
I can’t thank Niamh enough for her help while we were away - she truly went above and beyond to make sure our cats felt safe, clean, and at peace. Somehow, she was able to build enough trust with our anxious cat that he was sitting in her lap by the end. I have never, ever seen him do that with a pet sitter before. She was very communicative and sent lots of photos, videos, and updates which I really appreciated. I would absolutely book her in the future and recommend her to anyone. She has such a sweet energy and is really incredible with animals!
Niamh kept me updated while I was away for Christmas and won a shy Monty round!

Schedule
Doggy day care is my main thing but I also sometimes do volunteering. I sometimes walk dogs privately. I rarely leave a dog more than two hours max alone. I prefer my doggy boarders and day cares to be able to be alone for at least an hour in case I need to pop out.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a balcony but only allow dogs access to it if potty trained and under supervision for fresh air when not walking. I am on a first floor and ensure all windows are opened from top rather than bottom to ensure good ventilation and safety of dogs. I never had more than 2-3 dogs at a time but now only do solo boards unless they are same home dogs. The more info you provide the better for me please
Pets
A typical day
I love snuggles with dogs, taking them to the various parks and there's a pirate ship I take my regular dogs to ie Jubilee Park, Wanstead Park, Coronation Gardens and Lloyds Park. We walk, run, chase, fetch ball and wrestle dependant on dogs interest. I also take them to the maze in local park which they enjoy. I sometimes play wrestle with dogs indoors if they like and throw and play. With cats we generally snuggle or drag and throw toys along the floor to chase.
