Availability

Pet sitting fits naturally into my daily routine as I mostly work from home during the week, which means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I rarely leave the house for long periods during sits, and if I do need to step out, my partner Cam is usually available to stay and keep your pet company. I live just a 5-minute walk from Queen’s Park, so there’s easy access to green space for regular walks and outdoor time. As we don’t have a garden, I make sure dogs are taken out regularly for walks and exercise, and I’m happy to follow your usual routine. For cats, I provide a calm home environment with litter trays and plenty of space to relax. Weekends can be active with walks and time outdoors, or more relaxed and laid-back depending on what suits your pet best. I always aim to match their normal routine so they feel as comfortable and settled as possible.

Safety, trust & environment

I always aim to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet, whether they are staying in my home or I am caring for them in theirs. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, needs, and personality so I can provide care that feels familiar and reassuring. In my home, I keep the space clean, secure, and relaxed. As I work from home, pets are rarely left alone for long periods and get plenty of attention throughout the day. I don’t have a garden, so dogs are taken out regularly for walks and exercise (including nearby green spaces like Queen’s Park), and cats are provided with a quiet space, litter tray, and a low-stress environment to settle into. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I am very respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, medication (if required), and home security. I make sure doors and windows are secure, keep the home tidy, and maintain a calm environment for the pet. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable, and I provide regular updates and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

Caring pet lover in NW London 🐾

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Niamh, a caring and reliable pet sitter based in North West London. My love for animals began with my first dog Randle, a beautiful Bearded Collie who grew up with me. I later spent years with smaller dogs including Finn (a Jack Russell) and Archie (a Bichon Poo), as well as a much-loved black cat called Mitsy. (Adopted after being disowned) Each of them had very different personalities, which has made me confident with a wide range of temperaments and needs. Since moving to London, I’ve really missed having animals around, which is what inspired me to start pet sitting. I have spent a lot of time dog and cat sit for friends and family in Hertfordshire (some of which can be seen in my pictures), so I understand how important it is to keep pets feeling safe, relaxed, and in their normal routine while you’re away. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, and I’m happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs. Having access to a car also means I can be flexible with travel, cover a wider area across North West London, and support last-minute requests where possible. Depending on availability, I may sit solo or with my partner Cam, and either way your pet will get plenty of care and attention. You’ll always get updates and photos while you’re away so you can feel completely at ease. I’d love to meet you and your pet 🐾

Niamh looked after my Cavapoo Ziggy who is like a baby to me. He is usually a nervous dog but he absolutely loved her and didn’t want her to leave. She arrived on time and followed all instructions I left her with. Would highly recommend Niamh looking after your fur baby!
