My passion is loving animals!
I have grown up around animals my whole life, including cats, kittens, dogs, pups and horses. Among my family I was known as the 'animal lover' which led to me becoming the go to for pet sitting when any family or friends went away. My family has always had at least one dog and a few cats along with 3 horses as soon as I was old enough to ask for a pony! Living so far from home (I'm from Antrim!) I thought becoming a pet sitter would be a great way to get my fix of animals while also spending in nature (another one of my passions!).

Safety, trust & environment
I do not offer any pet services in my own home as I currently live in a rented room, however I have much experience growing up keeping pets safe in many different environments. I am great at judging when it is and isn't safe to give dogs more slack on walks, allowing them time to do their own thing and knowing when it is time to keep a close eye on them, for example when other dogs are approaching or when potentially startling events come along.
Ratings and reviews
I couldn’t recommend Niamh highly enough. She has looked after my 5-year-old Springer Spaniel, Alfie, from when he was just a puppy, and over the years she has become someone I completely trust with him. She is incredibly caring, reliable and patient, and has always treated Alfie as if he were her own. Niamh has helped with both dog walking and sitting, and she has always gone above and beyond to make sure Alfie is happy, exercised and well looked after. She understands his personality and needs really well, and I always feel completely at ease knowing he is with her. It’s been lovely to see the bond they have developed over the years, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Niamh to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter or walker.

Schedule
I am currently a student in UL studying engineering. I am in college for around 15 hours a week, leaving a lot of time in the evenings during the week free. During this time I usually like to go for walks and runs, which would be much more enjoyable with a dog!
