I currently work full-time as a dental nurse, which means I'm available for pet care on evenings and weekends. Pet sitting is something I'm truly passionate about, and I'm excited to grow my client base while providing reliable, loving care to every pet I meet. My long-term goal is to gradually reduce my dental nursing hours and dedicate more of my time to caring for animals. Whether I'm looking after your pet for an evening, a weekend, or regular visits, you can count on me to treat them with the same care, patience, and attention that I give my own.

When caring for your pet in your home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while keeping to their usual routine. I'll provide plenty of love, attention, playtime, walks, feeding, fresh water, and, of course, lots of cuddles if they enjoy them! I have experience with crate training, lead training, and reinforcing basic training around the home, so if you'd like me to continue practising simple commands and good habits while you're away, I'd be more than happy to help. I also have experience caring for reactive, nervous, and senior dogs, so I'm confident adapting my approach to suit each pet's individual needs. For cats, I'm equally happy to spend time playing, giving them affection on their terms, keeping litter trays clean, feeding them, and ensuring they have everything they need to feel relaxed and settled. Every pet is unique, so I'll always follow your instructions carefully and tailor my care to their routine, personality, and any specific requirements. I treat every pet as if they were my own, so you can have peace of mind knowing they'll be cared for with patience, kindness, and plenty of attention while you're away.

Pet care experience
I've been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I currently own two dogs, including a 25kg Goldendoodle, and caring for them has given me hands-on experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and senior dogs with medical needs, as well as administering medication, feeding, walking, and providing plenty of love and attention. My own dogs are reactive, so I'm currently working with Dog Pawfection on ongoing training. This has given me valuable experience in handling reactive, nervous, and aggressive dogs safely, including lead handling, crate training, and managing challenging situations calmly while out on walks. Alongside caring for my own pets, I've regularly looked after friends' and family's dogs over the years, so I'm confident adapting to each dog's individual routine and needs. I'm also planning to complete a canine first aid course to continue developing my knowledge and provide owners with even greater peace of mind. I work as a dental nurse during the week, so I'm available after work and on weekends. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away.

I have used Niamh many times over the years and cannot recommend her enough. Niamh cared for my older dogs for many years with great care and empathy for them. It was always a relief going away and leaving 2 mature dogs in her care knowing all their medical needs was met and knowing they would be so well looked after. After my two older dogs passed Niamh now is such a fun pet sitter with my 2 young rescue pups who I think love Niamh more than me. They adore her. I have constant updates on them and videos showing just how much patience - care - love and fun Niamh gives them both. I really can’t recommend Niamh enough to anyone
