Hi there my furry friends! I've been around animals my entire life. From volunteering at animal shelters to sitting and training my friends dogs. I've been a vegan for the past 20 years and I'm an active animal equality activist and severe lover. Food, fitness and animals are my world! I've had dogs my entire life and have trained them all myself. Don't worry, I don't discriminate against your age or breed. You're perfect the way you are. Size though.... yes but only because my apartment is very small! I'm not strict about canceling or last minute bookings. It's no big deal! Life happens! I love to stay active and promote a healthy lifestyle which includes love for all creatures of earth! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. How long have I been dog sitting? My entire life! I became vegan at the age of 6 and have been an active animal activist ever since. I've volunteered at animal shelters and even trained my friends dogs. I've never had a time in my life where I didn't have a dog in my home. My father was this way as well. He used to be a breeder and trainer so he taught me everything I know. At one point we had 32 pets in (or out of) the home (all different species), including an alligator! Can I administer medication? If you need to take a pill everyday, put on special creams, have special food prepared for you, that's fine. Shots, I'm not experienced in byt have no problem following your instruction.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Nia. From the first contact, she was kind and professional. We did a meet and greet before our trip and it was instantly obvious that this was the right person to care for our girl while we were away. We had some uncomfortable past experiences when leaving our dog at a facility and vowed never to do it again. So we tried Rover for the first time, and our experience was nothing short of amazing. I truly believe Nia has a special gift like a dog whisperer. Even after the meet and greet our dog was so calm. Nia is a special person and every one of us felt it. She eased our anxiety instantly. I never had to ask how my pup was because Nia updated before I even got a chance to ask on the daily. Dottie has a new best friend and I am forever thankful. This was the first vacation in 5 years I felt at peace knowing my dog was safe and happy. Without a doubt, I will be reaching out to Nia on Rover, for any future vacations. Thank you Nia from the bottom of our hearts!
Truly, and I mean this, could NOT recommend Nia more! She took such good care of my husky for two whole weeks while I had to be back home!!! So responsive, capable, and kind! Will 100000% be booking with her again!
Nia is amazing. She sat for our three large needy dogs and I don’t think they missed us a bit.
Nia watched Milo for 2 days while I was away and she was constantly sending pictures and updates on how the stay with Milo was going. She was very sweet and showed tons of love and compassion for my dog. I highly recommend having her watch your pet if you need a sitter!

I have 2 dogs. my sister has 1. We always travel together, hence, our dogs need to stay together! We have used a kennel in the past and it was more out of necessity. our 3 dogs have different personalities and are as individuals as their age, and size. When we met Nia we both felt confident in her. Then the day of our trip came and we drop off our babies. I was a nervous wreck. These are not my pets. They are my babies! Nia took great care of them! she send us videos and pictures each day! which made me feel comfortable, we would all look at the videos laugh and sigh relief! When we picked up our pups, they were happy to see us! but you could tell they wanted to show us around their new environment! 1 of our dogs is a mini Pincher and she is picky with people. Nia caught on to that as well. Would I book Nia again? HECK YEAH!! First time using Rover, by the way, and booking was easy!

I freelance so I create my schedule. It all depends on the dates. I'm mostly home. I'm an actress and voiceover artist so unless I'm booked for something, I'm home.

A typical day
For boarding in my home, we'll be chilling, cuddling, playing outside in the yard and going for walks! For just walks and drop ins, we'll walk and play according to what you ask for. For house sitting, LOTS OF CUDDLES! We can do simple walks around the neighborhood or go to the park if you'd like.
