ABOUT ME I have loads of experience with dogs including nervous dogs. I use to take emergency fosters from the local dogs home when they were struggling. I've got experience of nervous dogs, large breeds, energetic dogs and those with special diets and medical needs. I just get dogs on a visceral level (more than humans!). I've got a large completely walled in garden and I'm close to the canal path for lovely walks. Loads of parking out the front of my place for drop offs and collections. While you are off enjoying yourself your dog will be well cared for in a stress free environment. MESSAGES I aim to answer messages as timely as possible. However, sometimes I'm out walking or doing other dog related things like playing ball. Don't worry I will respond. If you are messaging late in the evening you can expect me to answer in the morning. Rover doesn't permit us to exchange phone numbers untill a booking has been made so I won't be able to see your phone number if you send it before then. WHAT CAN I OFFER? Apart from a lovable and safe environment, walks, playtime, cuddles, regular updates and home from home. PRE RESERVATION General pre reservation enquiries I'm happy to message with you on Rover and/or do a 15 minute video or phone call We can have a chat about your dog and your needs. I am happy to show you my home and garden too via our video call. AFTER YOU ARE HAPPY AND WISH TO RESERVE MEET &GREET If you need a meet and greet in person:- I'm happy to arrange a 30 min meet & greet at my home or in certain circumstances I can visit you and your dog in your home (if you are within a 15 mile radius) PAYMENT This is made through the app and protected by Rover. I can not see your bank or card details and your money is protected by Rover's policies and protections. PHOTO & VIDEO UPDATES Where requested I will send you updates of your doggy daily so you can see him or her enjoying their stay.

Couldn't have asked for better care of our dogs, they definitely had a home away from home with Nia. Got daily updates (we are worriers) and we were put at ease immediately. The dogs adored their time, it was like they had their own holiday! Will 100% be asking Nia to look after them again.
Bella had another wonderful stay with Nia! Far too short for Bella’s liking 🤣 we will again 💯 be booking with Nia again! Highly recommend 😀
Nia was fantastic and looked after Nala as if she was her own. Had plenty of updates during the stay and we came back to a tired out pup.

Schedule
I am and writer/publisher of children's books and meditation music. I work and spend a lot of time at home My children are adults and have left to do their own thing so I have time on my hands to enjoy dogs and their company. I'm active and walk everyday.

Safety, trust & environment
My home has a large garden which is completely walled and secure. Your pooch is completely safe here to run about in and out of the home with toys and lots of company and stimulation. We go for walks and outings which are suitable for the age, health and breed of the dog.
Pets
A typical day
I walk everyday to the canal path and/or the nature reserve close by. Toys with throw and catch and some treats for a fun time are definitely included. Lots of cuddles are definitely included as well as photo updates.
