I inherited my love for dogs at a very early age. My dog Mojo grew up with us and spent 11 years as part of our family. Since then, I volunteered at local shelters for 4 years during high school. While attending college, I cared for five dogs of my own and I have enjoyed house and pet sitting for the last 4 years. Safety has always been my number one priority.

After joining the Airforce, I decided that I was missing being around my dogs. So, I decided that I would return to Rover. I believe that pets love us their entire lives and it is up to us to ensure they feel that from us in return. I have been pet/house sitting for service members and base staff since arriving at Barksdale AFB and I take that responsibility very seriously. You will receive timely updates about your pets care and, if you have any special instructions, I will always be sure to follow those exactly. I am happiest when I’m hanging out with your happy pets!

Nia is so amazing with dogs! The affection she has provided for my sweet Scooby during my busy schedule has honestly been a lifesaver. She has not only handled walks, but overnight care as well. Scooby loves Nia which means so do I! Highly recommend her services.
In all the time I have known Nia she has been an avid dog lover. She has been a volunteer at the local animal shelter where she exercised, fed and bathed the dogs that would otherwise be caged for days. She has also cared for two of my own dogs. She was courteous, always showed up on time and, best of all, my dogs loved her. I’m only sad that I’m not living in the same area anymore as it is quite difficult to find someone of her caliber to trust with my babies.

Schedule
I am available any time Saturday through Sunday, for 1 hour visits at lunch from 11-1 and 4-10 pm Monday through Friday. I may be able to accommodate special circumstances.
