Safety, trust & environment
For the safety of any dogs I will be looking after I will not let them off the lead on walks unless it is completely secure field/pen. I will always keep an eye on your pet whilst in the garden. I look forward to looking after your pets!
Information Nia B. would like to know about your pet
Before looking after your pets I will come over for a visit so we can all meet (humans and pets). During this visit you can go through: Pets routine - Feeding time, walks and bed time. Any medical conditions that I need to know about. Any dislikes, e.g. other dogs/where they don't like to be stroked/touch. Any allergies, e.g. foods, pollen etc. Any rules for pets, e.g. pets on beds/upstairs etc). Any rules for myself, e.g. taking shoes off.
A typical day
I would try to match your pets routine. I would ensure I would provide exercise to suit your pet. I would also be very happy for suggestions that you take your pet as I can follow the same routine.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Pet care experience
I have been a RSPCA volunteer since 2009. This means I am used to looking after a range of animals with different needs, behaviours and temperaments. Alongside this I have looked after neighbours, friends and colleagues pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, donkey, horses, guinea pigs, ferrets, tortoises, crested gecko, hamsters, chickens, fish and African land snails. I am very happy to look after any other pets you may have. I qualified as Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2022. I would love to look after your pets! As a Registered Veterinary Nurse I am able to provide additional services whilst pet sitting such as: - Administer medication to your pets. - Provide care for diabetic pets. - Provide urinary assistance (bladder expressing and urinary catheter). - Assist with walking (using a sling). - Physiotherapy - passive range of motion, stretching and massage. So if your pet has unfortunately had surgery or treatment recently I may be the perfect sitter for your pet! I'm happy to discuss any requirements.

Reviews

We have had Nia babysit our Frenchie a few times now and this has been the best choice ever. She is the sweetest, most caring and loyal person. Our dog does not easily feel comfortable with anyone, but Nia is his best friend. He is so happy when she comes. And I feel very comfortable when I have to leave the house because I know he’s in the best hands.

Nia was brilliant with our two somewhat high maintenance dogs. She kept they engaged, safe and happy. Communicative, understanding, and followed instructions impeccably including giving medication. Definitely recommend.

Nia is amazing. Cannot recommend her highly enough. She’s reliable friendly loves animals and is so caring of your pets that you have absolutely no worries about leaving them. I would always opt for Nia every time I am away. Def 1st choice. 10/10 gold star!!

Reliable - great with animals and very flexible - perfect sitting experience
