I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 14, starting by watching my neighbors’ pets when they went on vacation. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for many other dogs in my neighborhood, as well as the dogs of my professors at UMass. I also have experience using clicker training. I’ve always dreamed of having dogs of my own, but frequent moves over the years have made that tough. From going to college and then moving to Boston. Getting to spend time caring for your dogs would truly mean a lot to me and would let me enjoy some quality time with furry friends while making sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for.

Makara is an incredible dog walker! She is very responsive and understanding of specific requests such as shoes off in the apartment. Makara is also great with handling my dog who tends to pull the leash when he sees other dogs. Highly recommend her!!
Mara did an incredible job watching our dog and kitties over a long weekend. She took great care of all of them and made us feel like our pets and home were in good hands during our vacation.
Makara is an excellent sitter! She was confident but appropriately cautious with our anxious and reactive pup. She was communicative and flexible, as she handled a few unexpected challenges. We felt at ease knowing our dog was in good hands!
She was very kind and accommodating. Communication with her was very easy. We were able to schedule in an additional walk. My dogs seemed to have had a good time.
Amazing dog sitter! Makara was very easy to communicate with, sent plenty of updates & pictures of my dog, and, most importantly, my (normally anxious) dog did really well with her!

Schedule
I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, so I can make myself available most times during any day of the week. I don’t have any vacations planned and am available for the foreseeable future.
