One of the TOP 1% sitters on Rover! Ngozi is so exceptionally considerate and understanding. It is evident the time and care she put into taking care of my pet cat Lychee! Additionally, Ngozi has lovely children who are equally responsible and very kind. Ngozi and family really welcomed my Lychee into their home for the weekend and took the BEST CARE of her. She will be my go-to now moving forward for pet-sitting in Kansas City!! I highly recommend Ngozi with her understanding nature and genuine character. THANKU NGOZI 🫶🏼

I was worried about leaving our older dog as we’ve never really done that before. Ngozi took wonderful care of her. I would receive pictures and video updates that really put my mind at ease.

Ngozi and her family are genuinely so amazing and accommodating! I recently lost my home and was unable to secure housing for myself with my cats. I originally boarded one cat with Ngozi, but ended up needing to bring her two more at different times. Ngozi worked with me extensively on needing to adjust dates, make repeat bookings, and overall just being incredibly kind and helpful throughout this process. This has not been an easy time in my life, but the care and understanding Ngozi and her family have showed me and my cats made it exceptionally less stressful. Ngozi sent SO MANY photos and videos of my babies while I couldn't be with them, it became a part of my day I looked forward to. She has always been very prompt and friendly with her communication. Honestly, my cats are likely a little salty that they are no longer visiting with their new BFF, because that's what Ngozi is. She treated my cats with the utmost care and love, and I fully believe there is no better person to have looked after them during this time than Ngozi, she is truly a blessing! I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful she has been and how much I recommend her services!

This was the furthest thing from our experience. We know Ozark is a challenge at 9 months old and has a lot of energy. We added this to his bio and made clear when requesting care (a few others declined to watch him), along with making very clear he needed to be watched or kenneled and not left alone. Ngozi has kennel trained as a requirement in her own bio. A few days into our trip, having received photos of him being walked as promised each day, I got a message from Ngozi that “he is destroying my walls” (he had ripped the paper edge off a piece of not-yet-mudded drywall). This was the first indicator that he wasn’t being kenneled but being left in a partially finished basement room for long periods by himself. I messaged back that I was very sorry, would fix the damage, and reiterated that he needs to be in the kennel or watched. When we picked him up it seemed he had remained left out in the basement room with very little attention and infrequent letting out (we discussed 2 walks a day, but didn't think I needed to be clear he needed to go out more frequently). When we went downstairs to get him, he was alone and not kenneled despite clear direction initially and again after the wall issue. The floor was damp from his urine, he had gotten into a very large plastic bag of milk bone treats left out with him and eaten them all, there was one small piece left of what was his food bowl, and he and his bedding/toys/etc. were soaked in urine and feces that smelled old and putrid, clearly not from just that day. When I asked about the bowl, I just got, “yeah, he broke that”. We had to buy a new bowl, bedding, replace his comfort stuffed animal, and rope toy as they were too far gone to be washed. Ozark smelled so bad we gave him an immediate bath. My daughter said she couldn't get the smell off her hands after washing them having held him on the ride home. He was acting strange upon pickup, drinking incessant amounts of water, and diarrhea constantly. He was perfectly healthy when we dropped him off. We’ve been home for 2 days now and it seems like his constant diarrhea is getting better. If not fully by tomorrow we're taking him to the vet worried that he ate some of the plastic bag along with the milk bones or has a large shard of his bowl stuck in his bowels (we've found pieces in his stool). If not that, he must have picked something up while there, which isn’t surprising given the conditions. I know Ozark is a challenge but he's a sweet pup and great (if a bit bouncy) when someone is with him. Great in his kennel if not. This shouldn't have been such a challenge for Ngozi had she followed her own bio, my notes, and just general decency, care, and basic dog care knowledge. Her comments about the wall and him ‘giving them a run for their money’ made it clear that she was irritated with us/Ozark when she should be aware of how poorly she managed having a dog in her care. He was neglected and 'care tailored to each pet' is far from true. To say the least, we won't be taking any pets to Ngozi again. I write this review to hopefully save others and their pets from a similar experience.
