I have always loved animals. Animals of all kinds. Lizards, kittens, dogs, starfish and live clams used to find their way into my home without my mother’s knowledge or consent from various places I’d visit. My whole family was certain I’d be a veterinarian by the time I was 9. ( a real Doogie Howser MD) I actually did try to go to veterinary school in Colorado but circumstances did not allow. ( and out of state tuition costs) Needless to say, the care of animals has always fascinated me and the giving and receiving affection to them has always brought me joy and comfort. I have been on Rover caring for clients and their pet families for nine years and have developed positive and long lasting relationships that have been very rewarding for everyone involved. My dog Raja is ten years old that I trained myself over the course of two years as a livestock guardian, a service animal, emotional support animal, some degree of search and rescue, ( he’s found our lost blind cat outside lol) and off leash walking ( in hiking situations) he’s very well behaved and understands nearly 300 words. While I housesit he can be left alone overnight and guards our home and looks after our two cats. He does NOT have separation anxiety and is happy to watch pet collective while mom and dad go to work. We often travel back and forth between our home and clients homes to ensure care is provided for our own and yours equally. I have brought dogs cats bunnies roosters etc into our home and his temperament is so mild he is kind to all the creatures I bring in. If your dog gets along with others well he/she may have a good friend in Raja. My husband house sits with me and will come to a meet and greet to get acquainted with new clients and pets. He is also a Rover sitter and is a great deal of help when sitting. He is a second brain, set of eyes and hands and costs nothing extra!! If I am unable to accept a booking he can also be a backup for when I am unavailable which is an added value for my clients so that their plans can continue as desired. His name is Teddy and he is mentioned in my reviews. We are especially capable to care for any animal including those that are special needs, require medications is elderly or any other special care. I enjoy facing any kind of challenge and pushing through it the only way I know how, with patience, love, consistency and the utmost attention to detail. If any kind of injury or medical emergency arises, I am abnormally calm and focused with your pets best interests and will alert you immediately. I have experienced the care of all kinds of dogs,🐕 cats, 🐈 ferrets, hedgehogs 🦔 , pond fish 🐟 , aquarium fish, 🐠 snakes 🐍 and lizards 🦎 . And chickens 🐓 and goats 🐐 too!!!! I will feed and love and pet and play and cuddle and sing songs 🎶 to your pet with their name in it. I will be their Auntie Neysha while you are away and they will be so excited when you pack a suitcase because they will know that I’ll be around for them! (Get ready for Les Bon Temps Rouler!) If permitted I can take your dog to a dog park or a car ride to Starbucks for a pup cup or just an Auntie and me outing. (Like nuggets from Chick Fil A or Petsmart for a new chew toy!) We can play fetch at home til my arm can’t throw no mo lol. Then it’s Teddys turn! We’re mature grown adults (40 plus) with a grown son in college. We have common sense and sound logic.
