Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I currently work part-time from home, which allows me flexibility throughout the day to provide walks, feedings, playtime, and attentive care. For house sitting and longer bookings, I follow each pet’s established routine and make sure they receive consistent care, quality time, and regular check-ins. While I may step out briefly for other obligations, I plan my schedule carefully so pets are never left without proper care, and I clearly communicate my availability and update frequency in advance. I’m always happy to discuss schedules and expectations ahead of time to ensure the best fit for both you and your pet

Safety, trust & environment

I offer flexible pet care services, whether you prefer care in your home or boarding in mine. My priority is always your pet’s comfort, safety, and well-being, and I approach every booking with care, structure, and attention to detail. In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I share my space with my friendly 14-year-old Westie, who is gentle, well-socialized, and accustomed to being around other dogs and cats. I carefully supervise interactions and ensure each pet has appropriate space, rest time, and exercise, including regular walks and outdoor time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines closely to help pets feel secure and relaxed in their familiar environment. I respect each household’s guidelines and take care to maintain consistency, cleanliness, and safety throughout the stay. Whether care takes place in your home or mine, your pet will receive the same level of attentive, responsible care, clear communication, and genuine affection.

A typical day

A typical day with me as your dog walker or pet sitter is balanced with exercise, enrichment, and calm companionship, all tailored to your pet’s personality and routine. For dogs, the day often begins with a refreshing walk to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Depending on your dog’s energy level, walks may include exploring local parks, relaxed neighborhood strolls, or time to sniff and engage with their surroundings. For more active dogs, I incorporate play such as fetch or interactive games to help them burn off energy in a safe and positive way. Throughout the day, I provide playtime and engagement based on each pet’s preferences — whether that’s toys, gentle training-style games, or simply quality one-on-one attention. I also make sure pets have time to rest and recharge, especially puppies and senior dogs who benefit from a calm, steady pace. For cats, activities may include feather wand play, laser pointer games, window watching, or quiet companionship. I’m attentive to each cat’s comfort level and let them lead the interaction, whether they’re playful, independent, or affectionate. During downtime, I ensure pets are comfortable, hydrated, and relaxed, following their usual feeding schedules and routines. If your pet has specific needs, habits, or preferences, I follow those closely to keep their day as familiar, low-stress, and enjoyable as possible.

Pet care experience

Throughout my life, dogs and cats have been an important part of my family, shaping the way I care for animals with patience, responsibility, and genuine affection. I have experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable caring for a wide range of breeds — from high-energy Dobermans and German Shepherds to smaller breeds like Shih Tzus who benefit from a gentler approach. I have extensive experience with puppies and senior pets, including maintaining structured routines, adjusting care based on age and temperament, and administering medications as instructed. I understand how important consistency, observation, and clear communication are — especially for pets with specific needs or recent medical history. What sets me apart is my calm, attentive care style and my focus on following each pet’s established routine while keeping owners informed. Whether it’s an energetic walk, overnight care, or attentive support for pets who need extra patience, I approach every booking with professionalism, reliability, and genuine care.

Nelson came through last minute and was a lifesaver. Zero can be a bit of a snappy grouch in his old age, but Nelson handled him like a champ.
