I now work as a full-time collegiate minister but since my previous career was in veterinary medicine, I still look for ways to work with pets! My schedule varies from week to week allowing for much flexibility for pet sitting!

I like to care for pets as closely to how the owner would care for their pet! This means is the owner would rather me stay overnight at their home, I am happy to do that. I often work remotely so can spend extended hours in the client’s home keeping their pets company, especially if their pets have separation anxiety.

A typical day
I like to take pets out in the yard to get some sun or play with their favorite toys! If I know that the owners are wanting to teach them new behaviors then I’ll do my best to continue teaching them and rewarding the pets as needed! If the owner typically lets their pet sleep in the bedroom, I will do the same and make sure they have everything they need to be comfortable!
