I'm a retired greybeard geek and photographer, who's always got on well with cats, whether within my family or met on the streets. I grew up with Tiger, a long haired ginger and white female from a farm cat litter; I can still remember my delight the first time she settled on my lap, when I was about five years old... In adult life, several cats have chosen me; my last cat, Kenneth, arrived on my doorstep as a skinny, feral stray in early 2011. He became a fine figure of a cat, but even I have to admit that he was dangerous if the mood was on him. I've been a cat-sitter with Cat in a Flat since 2017. Do get in touch if you feel that I would be suitable as your cat's temporary butler. Neil

All AOK as usual - we usually choose Neil as our sitter. Good communication while we were away… just the occasional message and photo - I wouldn’t want daily reports!
Neil did a great job feeding our cats and watering my allotment and a few pots in the garden during the recent very hot weather. But we did return home to find the cats' empty water bowl in the sink... he was very apologetic.
All AOK and Neil kept us informed while we were away, including the occasional photo. Third time we’ve used him 👍
Neil is very reliable, friendly and really good at keeping in touch with us when we are away. We always feel happy that our cats are well looked after so have peace of mind. It was very easy to explain to Neil where everything was and so it was a very smooth process. He really makes it possible for us to go away and relax.
Have booked Neil to look after my old scraggly Zebs cat a number of times and he's always been happy on my return so has clearly received some love and attention. Neil has cleared poops from the tray when I've been away for longer than a day and night and has used the grooming combs on his increasingly matted old fur. Happy
This catsitter did not empty the litter trays once in five days, no litter in black bin at the end of that time. Cats had started weeing in the bath for want of somewhere clean. Food bowls had both biscuits and dried up moist food and had not been cleaned. He came in at 9pm for teatime feed. Wheelie bin was not put out as requested. Avoid.
