My first dog was an active bearded collie. Him and I grew up together as we got him when I was 4. My current dog is 4.5 and he is an X-Large dog (Bernese) which I have trained to allow me to perform all grooming (teeth, paws, nails, brushing, bathing). I am a teacher during the year, but in the summer I have the time off. My daughter and I enjoy being outside with the dog in the backyard and can provide lots of play during the day. I have a fenced in yard, one dog and one daughter. I wake up and feed the dogs in the morning. Let them outside to play for a while to burn energy. Then we can decide on what to do for the day based on the dogs. My dog is variable to activities. He doesn’t mind being lazy infront of the tv but also doesn’t mind being out to play.
