I do not take my dog for a walk without putting on a harness first. I make sure we go on walks that have a clear sidewalk available and typically don’t walk at night unless it’s a fully lit area.

Does the dog get along with other dogs? How long of a walk do they usually go on. Do they only do their business on grass or do they go anywhere?
A typical day
I would take them for a walk anywhere in the area. If owner permits, there is a dog park nearby that I could take them to to run around and play.

My wife, Melanie and I have an Australian Shepherd named Stella and she is 6 years old. We trained her from when she was 8 weeks old and we are at the point that we can take her on walks without a leash. My wife is a nurse and I work 100% remote. We love dogs and Stella loves making new friends!

Neil was great! My dog had a wonderful time. He is very communative - I got a quick response when I booked and pictures and updates throughout her stay. She got a lot of playtime. Would definitely recommend and use his sitting services again.

Neil is great with dogs of all sizes. He has experience training a very high energy breed (Australian shepherd) and has done such a great job with her. He knows how to walk and play with all breeds and does a great job dog sitting as well as walking them. I highly recommend Neil as your next dog walker!
I've known Neil for over 10 years and he's always been a dog lover. During our many years of living together people entrusted him to dog sit for them. I saw first-hand of his ability to look after and care for a dog from visits that lasted a few hours to multiple days. He's had a range of experience from looking after young and hyper dogs to raising an energetic dog of his own. Every time I visit him I find his dog, Stella, to be one of the best trained dogs I've encountered. I am the kind of person that is nervous around dogs and Neil has always been able to keep the dog calm and make me feel more comfortable. In addition to being great with dogs, Neil is a great friend of mine. He is trustworthy, reliable, and responsible, which is why I would recommend him to be a member of Rover.
