Neil was an absolute lifesaver. He stepped in very last minute to look after my puppy due to a family emergency, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. His communication was excellent from start to finish — frequent updates, photos, and quick responses that really put my mind at ease. It’s immediately clear how much Neil genuinely loves animals. He was incredibly accommodating, patient, and attentive, especially with a young puppy, and treated my dog like one of his own. Knowing my pup was safe, happy, and well cared for made a stressful situation so much easier. Neil stayed in our home for a full week to look after our dogs, Revy and Gordie, and we honestly couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From our first conversation, he came across as responsible, kind, and genuinely interested in getting to know our dogs and their routines. During our time away, Neil was an excellent companion to both Revy and Gordie. He made sure they got plenty of daily walks, kept them active with regular games of fetch, and spent lots of one-on-one time with them. It was clear he wasn’t just “checking in” on them, but really engaging with them and making sure they were happy, exercised, and relaxed. Revy and Gordie absolutely loved the attention. Neil kept us updated while we were away, which gave us great peace of mind. Knowing our dogs were safe, well cared for, and enjoying themselves in their own home made it much easier to be away. When we returned, both dogs were calm, happy, and clearly well looked after — always a sign of excellent care. On top of taking such great care of Revy and Gordie, Neil also treated our home with respect and left everything clean and tidy. We would not hesitate to hire Neil again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring dog and house sitter.
