Active, loving, and caring!
I’ve taken care of of many dogs over the past several years ranging from longer stays (I watched the sweetest pitbull for 6 months), to short stays. I have a lot of experience with puppies, as well as dogs from a variety of backgrounds, as I frequently foster dogs for my local Humane Society. I am a mama to a sweet 5 year old German Shepard/ Husky mix named Zeina. She is very active and playful. I love animals and truly value their companionship. I take the responsibility of being a dog auntie very seriously and will give your pup all of my care and love. I’m very active and spend a lot of time outside. The best compliment I got was from my friend Juan who had to leave his dog with me for 5 months. He came back and told me his dog was in better shape and healthier than when he left him! I am comfortable caring for dogs who need medications, and am happy to care for dogs of all ages, but definitely do best with dogs who can go outside, and are okay off leash, as my dog and I go on two walks a day where she runs around off leash and gets to release all her energy! I prefer to go on off leash walks with a pack that has good recall. If your dog needs to be on leash, that is fine just please let me know.

Incredible care! Nayla was able to accommodate a last minute booking with a flexible pick up time. She took my dog Ruby on a few pack walks & worked with her on recall. This nervous mama was very comfy leaving Ruby with Nayla. My dog came home soooo happy! Highly recommend Nayla!

Penny loved spending spring break with Nayla!! She enjoyed daily walks and a few dips in the river. Nayla and her dog were wonderful company and sent many updates throughout the week with some great pictures to let us know how Penny was enjoying herself! Would definitely book Nayla again :)
My husky rescue can be timid and scared in new setting. Nayla and her awesome dog made Freya feel comfortable, playing and hiking and building her confidence. Nayla was prompt, understanding, communicated well and shared lots of pics of their adventures. It was reassuring and awesome to see my dog having a great time. I highly recommend Nayla if you have an active dog and are looking for someone to give them the attention, exercise and love they need while in someone else’s care.
Nayla took great care of both my pups and was very responsive!

Schedule
I work from home, so your dog would really never be alone for more than a couple hours. I can do potty breaks whenever needed and have lots of dog toys at the house.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a couple acres around my house, but it’s not fenced, so the dogs are never out alone there. I have an enclosed deck where they love to sun bathe during the day. I’m close to walking paths, fields, and Donner lake dog beach which are all great for the dogs to play. I'll treat your dogs just as I treat my own...my dog is a very happy pup!
Pets
A typical day
I start off my day with a 30-60 min dog walk with Zeina (my dog). Then I work from home so I am always around. Usually the dogs are quite tired after the walk so they lounge in the house on balcony. We go back out for a second dog walk in the afternoon, then dinner and bed. In the summer we often go to the river or to Martis where dogs have lots of free space to run free! Your dog will get daily walks and if they are up to it longer hikes as I love to be outdoors. In my house I have my dog Zeina, and no other pets. She is a love and LOVES other dogs. They are welcome on the couch (unless you tell me otherwise) and will have lots of fun together!
