I am happy to take care of your furry friends directly from your home or my apartment in Manhattan Beach. I currently work full time remotely and am available to work from your home during the day or stop by periodically, depending on frequency and location. Whatever you feel most comfortable with!

When I care for your pet in their home, my top priorities are safety, trust, and maintaining a comfortable environment. I follow all of your pet’s usual routines to ensure they feel secure and at ease while you’re away, from feeding times to exercise and play. I take the time to get to know each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether it’s offering extra cuddles for shy pets or giving active ones plenty of exercise. Safety is always a top priority—I’ll make sure all doors and windows are securely closed, supervise outdoor time to prevent escapes, and keep hazardous items or substances out of reach. Trust is vital in the relationship I build with both you and your pet. I’ll keep you updated with photos and check-ins, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. By providing a familiar, loving environment, I ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed in their own space.

Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible so I can provide the best care. I like to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities and toys, personality, any medical conditions or medications, allergies, training cues, and how they interact with other people and animals. I also appreciate knowing what makes them feel comfortable, any fears or triggers they may have, and any house rules you'd like me to follow. The more I know ahead of time, the more I can help your pet feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away.
A typical day
I love spending quality time with pets and tailoring activities to their personalities and energy levels. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, going on hikes, and visiting dog-friendly parks. For more relaxed pets, I enjoy cuddle time, brushing, and interactive puzzle toys that keep them mentally engaged. With cats, I like using wand toys, laser pointers, and creating calm, enriching play sessions. My goal is always to make sure pets are happy, active, and comfortable while giving them plenty of attention and affection.

Navodi has been an amazing minder for our two dogs over many years. She took great care of our Senior dog till passing at 17. Paying attention to the needs and Medications of a senior dog Meanwhile entertaining our current dog from puppyhood to now a 9 yr. senior. We are always at ease when Navodi housesits. She is polite, friendly and communicates with us regularly.
Navodi has cared for not only one, but two of my dogs over the course of a 5 year span. The first dog she cared for was my senior corgi, Sophie. In the last years of her life, Sophie was in a wheelchair and had difficulties walking. Navodi was the only person I felt comfortable leaving Sophie with while we traveled. With great attention to detail and meticulous care, Navodi was able to accomodate Sophie’s daily needs. From administering Sophie’s medication, to sometimes taking her to the vet, to washing her when she had diarrhea, Navodi was able to do it all! She has a great attitude and has always cared for the dogs like they were her own pets. Navodi also looked after my new dog, Miso. Being an older puppy, Navodi was able to adapt to her higher exercise regimen and keep her up to date with her training. She also gave great photo updates of how both my pets were doing. I highly recommend Navodi as a great pet sitter and have even referred her on to my boss to watch her bulldog!
I loved having Navodi take care of my dog, Fritter, and cannot recommend her enough! From the moment I met her, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals and a warm, caring nature. She treated Fritter like her own dog, and it showed in the way Fritter quickly warmed up to her and felt right at home. Navodi kept me updated regularly with photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear that Fritter had a blast, and when I returned, Fritter was happy, healthy, and well-cared for. Navodi’s attention to detail and her commitment to providing a safe, loving environment made all the difference. Our dog, Doc, loves Navodi so much! Why? When we are gone and Navodi takes care of him, he is the King of the palace! As a clear animal lover, Navodi is dedicated to ensuring all of his needs (and then some!) are met. Walks, meals, loves, and playtime for Doc are intentional and special when Doc gets Navodi time. She is a gem!!
