On weekdays, one of us is always working from home, so pets are closely supervised throughout the day. Dogs can choose to play with our husky Russell or relax nearby. Russell is calm, social, and very good at matching other dogs’ energy and boundaries. Pets follow a structured but relaxed routine that mirrors a typical home environment. Potty breaks are provided in the morning, midday, late afternoon, and evening. Feeding always follows your pet’s normal schedule, with fresh water available at all times. Please let us know in advance if your pet is on a raw diet so we can plan fridge space accordingly. Daily care includes playtime, enrichment, affection, and consistent supervision, plus longer walks around midday and again in the late afternoon. On weekends, we may step out as a family for short periods. For this reason, pets must be comfortable being alone or crate trained for up to two to three hours. We prioritize calm transitions and a safe, predictable environment so pets feel secure even when routines vary slightly.

For boarding and daycare, safety and supervision are our top priorities. Dogs in our care are never taken to off-leash parks. All outdoor time is leash-only and fully supervised to ensure controlled, predictable walks at all times. Please make sure to provide a hardness (not only a collar). We host pets in a calm family home and only accept dogs that are friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable around children and other dogs. All interactions with our children and resident dog are closely supervised, and we separate pets when needed to respect individual comfort levels and routines. We follow each pet’s care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking preferences, and any special routines. Our goal is to provide a secure, low-stress environment that feels like home while maintaining clear safety boundaries. For walks: please provide a hardness. For walks and drop-ins: please provide access in advance.

Dogs must be friendly, non-aggressive, and up to date on core vaccinations. We are best suited for social dogs who are comfortable in a calm family home environment. We are comfortable administering oral medications and following special routines. Please make sure all care details are fully updated in your pet’s Rover profile so we can provide consistent, reliable care. Daily photo updates are always provided so you can stay connected and reassured. All walks are leash-only. We do not offer off-leash walks, as safety and controlled environments are a priority for us. For Boarding Pets can sleep in their crate, their own dog bed, or a designated space in our home based on their usual routine. Please let us know drop-off and pick-up times in advance, as we schedule our day around confirmed arrival and departure windows. For Walks & Drop-In Visits Please note that walk and drop-in times are scheduled within a one- to two-hour arrival window. This allows us to plan our day responsibly around work commitments, school pickups, and the care of other pets, while still ensuring each visit is completed with care and attention.
A typical day
Each day is tailored to your pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. Some pets love to play and engage with toys, while others prefer to relax nearby or enjoy quiet companionship. We let pets set the pace and choose how they want to spend their time. Daily walks are included to provide exercise, mental stimulation, and fresh air, adjusted to your pet’s needs and energy level. Throughout the day, pets have access to toys, comfortable resting areas, and plenty of affection. For pets who enjoy cuddles and calm time, we make sure they have space to settle in and feel secure. Our goal is a balanced day that combines movement, enrichment, and rest, so pets are content, relaxed, and comfortably tired by the evening.

We are experienced, reliable pet sitters based in Vancouver, BC, with over 1,000 pets cared for as we have been. pet sitter since 2016. Animals have always been part of our lives. I grew up rescuing and rehoming dogs and cats in the Dominican Republic, and that love for animals is something we now share as a family. We also have an 11-year-old husky, Russell, who is friendly, playful, and excellent at matching other pets’ energy once the initial excitement passes. He does well with dogs, cats, and small animals. Pets in our care enjoy multiple daily walks, lots of attention, and free roam of our home so they feel comfortable and relaxed. We are experienced with dogs, cats, and small caged pets, and can offer boarding or drop-in visits depending on your needs and location.
