I work in Bend at Oregon State University, onsite Wednesday to Friday 9am-3pm, and remote on Monday/Tuesday. I have time during my lunch hour to spend time with pets. If you request, I can also work remotely either half my day or a full day, based on your preference for me to be with your pets. I like taking dogs out for morning and evening walks to ensure they have time outside.

I make sure that when I pet sit I give my full attention. If it’s a dog, I try to take them on walks as much as possible and play in the yard. If it’s cats, I love playing with them and letting them cuddle with me. I house-sit my Mom’s 2 Maine Coons that I grew up with!

I like to discuss the do’s and don’t with dog owners. I understand that some dogs might actually hate traveling in the car, so then I just take them around their neighborhood and make sure they are safe and comfortable. I adhere to their feeding schedules. I also make sure to find out how well they interact with other dogs, whether it's at the dog park or even on a walk.

I love taking dogs on long walks for my exercise instead of going to the gym. I like taking them to dog parks if you are ok with them. If not, there are many walks in the area to take time together. Playing fetch is great and I know it’s the most important part of their day.

I’ve house/pet sat professionally for about 10 years now. Most pets ever at once was an Australian Shepherd, Parakeet and Maine Coon. I have stayed in house and also brought to my house as well with the owner's permission. I have administered oral and injectable medications if needed. I am prompt to reach out to an owner if I have any questions or concerns. Communication is a top priority for me, I'm caring for your fur babies!

Nathaniel S. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
Nathaniel did a great job taking care of my dog, Honey, for a full week. Honey normally takes a long time to adjust to a new person but this was not the case with Nathaniel. She felt very comfortable with him immediately. Nathaniel had to deal with a fairly complicated and changing diet routine for Honey as she was recovering from an intestinal disorder when I left. He handled these details very efficiently and Honey had fully recovered by the time I returned. It's important to know that someone can take care of your dog if there are some complications and Nathaniel did very well with that. Nathaniel was generous with his time taking honey on long walks in locations that required driving to the start of the walk. She has a much better time when she walks along a river trail or something of that sort then just walking around the block and Nathaniel made this happen for her. I could not be more pleased with Nathaniel's performance and I look forward to working with him again. I'm sure Honey feels the same way.
Nate did a great job taking care of Bao and following her schedule. The house looked great when we got back too!
Wonderful care for my dog! First time working with Nathaniel and can’t recommend him more highly. He was very responsive, kept me updated and managed to charm my emotionally challenged older pup. And even better the house was in great shape when I returned. Really a nice guy and very responsible, will be booking again soon.
