Hi! My name is Nathaniel, and I’m a dependable, reliable, and energetic pet sitter based in Ann Arbor. I grew up with two cats, so I’m very comfortable with everything from playful kittens to more independent, low-key cats who just want their space. I also spent my summers in a house with six dogs, and yes, I’m serious, so I’m used to lots of energy, different personalities, feeding routines, walks, and the occasional chaos that comes with a full house of pets. I love working with animals because every pet has their own personality. Whether your dog wants a long walk, a slower sniff-filled stroll, or even a run, I’m happy to match their energy. If your dog likes to run, I’d love to take them with me. For cats, I’m great with feeding, litter boxes, playtime, and giving them attention on their terms. I’m extremely dependable, careful with instructions, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and comfortable while you’re away, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you know they’re doing well.

I take safety and trust really seriously, especially because I know how much people care about their pets and their homes. In a client’s home, I always follow instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk routes, medication notes, litter box care, crate rules, and anything else that helps keep the pet comfortable. I try to keep the pet’s environment as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m careful with doors, leashes, gates, and food, and I always make sure pets are secure before entering or leaving. I’m also respectful of the home itself and make sure things are left clean and exactly how I found them. My goal is to make pets feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their owner is away. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well.

Nathaniel was fantastic when he stayed with our dogs for 4 nights. One of our dogs is a bit selective about the people he trusts, and he took to Nathaniel quickly. We came home to happy dogs, a clean house, and he even washed the bedding he slept on! Highly recommend!

Nathan was an amazing cat sitter for my cat, Lucas, while I was away for a week. He was extremely dependable, communicative, and made me feel completely comfortable knowing Lucas was in good hands. He made sure Lucas was fed, had fresh water, and kept everything clean and organized. He also spent time playing with Lucas and giving him attention, which I really appreciated. Nathan sent me photos throughout the week, so I always knew Lucas was happy, safe, and well cared for. I could tell he genuinely cared about Lucas and treated him like his own pet. Nathan has been amazing with my dog, Butter. He is responsible, dependable, and genuinely caring with animals. Butter has a lot of energy, and Nathan is great at keeping up with him, including taking him on runs when he needs extra exercise. Schedule
Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I already enjoy being active and keeping a consistent schedule. I’m dependable, flexible, and good at planning my day around responsibilities, so walks, check-ins, feeding times, and overnight care are all things I can reliably work into my week. I’m especially happy to do morning, afternoon, or evening walks, and I can also adjust based on what your pet is used to. Whether your dog needs exercise, your cat needs a calm check-in, or your pet just needs someone consistent while you’re away, I’m happy to make their routine part of mine.
