Information Nathaniel B. would like to know about your pet
I don't have any preferences in terms of breed, though I like to know if they're comfortable around people. I've walked several dogs in the past that have reacted negatively to people without the owners telling me that, and that's something that I would like to know before taking on a job with your dog. It won't keep me from accepting the job, but I would just like some warning and time to prepare a route or other activities that keep the dog engaged. I also prefer dogs that are comfortable with a higher level of activity. I love energetic dogs and I truly enjoy wearing them down by play or cuddles. Your dogs are as important to me as my own and I'll spend my entire time with them ensuring that they understand that.
A typical day
I will - for the time being - primarily walk around the neighborhood, using the sidewalks and possibly local parks depending on the time of day, quality of the streets and the dog's comfort with being around people. Aside from walking, I'll spend about 80% of my time with your dog playing with it. I'll pet, rub, play fetch, lose in a game of Tug of War and do just about anything else your dog enjoys doing. I'll brush them and show them the most affection they've ever experienced - aside from you, of course.

Your Dog's Best Day Ever
Pet care experience
I'm a geology student at Calvin College, working on finishing up my senior year. Nearly my entire life my family has had dogs - 3 malamutes - and I grew up around massive breeds with temper issues and incredibly strong pulls. I'm incredibly calm in stressful situations and have spent the past 3 years working with family members and professors to watch their dogs while they're out of town. Dog Walking: I am willing to walk for as long as it takes to ensure your dog is happy and plenty tired before returning home and ensuring that your dog is safe before I leave the house. I'll come with plenty of treats and a wide, happy smile to put your dog at ease. As I've said before, I usually walk with dogs around the 130-150lb mark, so I'm sure your pup will be fine. Doggie Drop-In: I'll come to your house for something around 30 minutes to check up on your dog, play with him/her and generally ensure that they're good and tired and ready for when you arrive at home later that day. Playing with dogs is a favorite pastime of mine, so I'm confident when I say that you and your dog are going to be satisfied with my services. House Sitting: I'll arrive at your house and immediately play with your dog, just to get a feel for how the pup is going to react to me. I'll feed him/her dinner, take them for a walk and ensure that they're good and tired before going to bed. I'll wake up in the morning, walk them again after feeding them breakfast and then play for a while before leaving (if I have any other engagements). - Please note that these services are tailored for the situations, and I'll be happy to change or adjust some things depending on what the dog in question needs -

Nathaniel always takes great care of my pets!

Nathaniel was great with our large, needy pup. He was confident giving meds and handling snowy zoomies.

Nathaniel does a great job with my pups! He is communicative and loving toward my big fluff balls.
Nathaniel exceeded our expectations. From the moment we met him, we knew he would be a perfect fit for our dog, who requires plenty of exercise and attention. Nathaniel put our minds at ease knowing our dog was being well cared for while we were out of town for medical reasons. He was punctual, left our home super clean, and provided great communication. Highly recommend!
