🌸 ☀️ 🍁 ❄️ Scheduling with me is pretty simple. What I recommend is to reach out at least a month in advance of your trip if possible. That way we can set up a plan before my available days are already booked. Feel welcome to reach out anytime if you have questions. :) ❁ If you know your travel dates in advance, but you aren't ready to pay for the stay, you can also message me and ask for me to reserve your upcoming trip dates on my calendar for you. I'd be glad to do that. We can then finalize the booking when you're ready to pay. ❁ Walks and Drop in visits -:- In order to allow time for other work and projects I'm involved with, I am no longer available for recurring (weekly) walks and drop in visits, although I am glad to come by for the occasional walk or drop in. Let me know if you have any questions about scheduling occasional walks or drop in visits. :)

❁ I will always request a meet and greet before moving forward to booking. This will give us a chance to meet and discuss what is needed and best for your animal companion's care. It's also safer and more peaceful for both the animals and myself, because they will have a chance to get to know me. I will bring plenty of questions to ask, because I want to come prepared when I come to help care for them. I will ask questions like - "Do they have any special dietary restrictions?" "How do they typically act around other dogs on leash?" "Do they try to run from the house through open doors?"
A typical day
🌅 ❀ 🏞️ When it comes to dogs, we can go check out neighborhood trails together, and have fun exploring in nature. We can play in the backyard together. Of course I am glad to throw a frisbee or a ball for them too. If they enjoy trips to the beach, we can check out the local beaches. 🐚 Of course with our cat friends, I'm glad to play with them with their favorite toys. I try to focus on what they seem to really enjoy the most. It’s important to me to adapt to what they really thrive with and find the most engaging. I pay close attention to what they seem to be comforted by also. If they welcome the affection, I like to give cats and dogs some good back rubs too. Depending on their dietary needs, I give them a good amount of healthy treats and chew toys too.

🐺🪽 🐱 I have been a caregiver for animal companions for 20 years, including time spent with dogs and cats I adopted with my family members growing up. I have been helping to care for the dog and cat companions of clients and friends for around 9 years. I am compassionate and caring towards animals, and people. The wellbeing and thriving of animals is important to me. I make every effort I can to treat them as best as possible, and to consider what is needed for their care, safety, and peace of mind. I am very comfortable with animals, and I feel a connection and bond with them. I have had many close, loving friendships with dogs and cats over the years. Acting with integrity and maturity is important to me. Caregiving with compassion for elderly dogs is work I have experience with. ⧝ ❁ ⧝

Great communication and our dog was nice and relaxed with Nathan.
Nathan was very patient with our pup who is very shy and timid at first. He sometimes takes days to open up, but Nathan was great in giving updates on just small progress while we were on our trip. Our pup enjoyed nice, long walks and we came back to a very clean home! We will definitely be contacted Nathan again in the future!
