Our 1/4 acre yard is fully fenced, so your dog will have plenty of room to run and play. Our house is quite dog friendly, and we do allow dogs up on the couch (but are open to changing this to be flexible with others' rules).

We have two toddlers, so safety comes first for us. We know other breeds are good with kids too, but based on our experience, these breeds have been the best with our kids. Dachshunds, corgis, duck tolling retrievers, and labs only, please.

Your dog's typical day After a morning pee, your dog will get a chance to either play inside or in the back yard with the girls. After lunch there's a chance for some quiet time while the kids nap, and in the late afternoon a chance to get out for a run with the kids in the back yard, or in our quiet cul-de-sac. Dinner is usually a quieter time around the table where your dog will have some time alone (as a rule we keep dogs away from people food. Overall, your dog will have a couple chances a day to get outside and run in addition to bathroom breaks.

Hi - we're Nathan, Elise, Anna, and Lily, and we absolutely love dogs and would like to look after yours. Breeds To save yourself some time, please check out our 3 restrictions below, and book in only if your dog is one of the following breeds: - Dachshund - Corgi - Nova Scotia duck tolling retrievers - Labrador 2 night minimum: We do this because we love dogs, rather than as a business, so we have a 2 night minimum. About us Nathan is a stay at home dad and looks after Anna (7) and Lily (5) during the day. He especially loves dachshunds and labs, as he trained his family mini dachshund, Penny. Elise works from home in IT and loves whippets and duck tolling retrievers. Her family bred both corgis and German shepherds, so she's familiar with dog training and administering medication. She's lived with and trained dogs, cats, and the occasional goat for 10 years. About the atmosphere Nathan is home with the girls all day, minus school dropoff and pickup. Anna and Lily get along well with all dogs, but she especially love the big, warm-hearted kind. Our home is a 3600 sq ft detached home on a fenced 10,000 sq ft lot in Brookswood. The back yard is about the size of a small downtown parkette. About the price Yes, we know we're underpriced for a couple who only looks after one dog at a time, gives your dog his/her own room/kennel/couch to sleep on, and has a big yard for your dog to play in. We do this because we both love dogs, but, with two toddlers, it's to soon to train a brand new puppy. We charge less than the going rate for looking after only one dog at once, but there are 3 things we need from your dog: 1) Must be housebroken 2) Must be good with food (doesn't swipe food that's left out from tables, etc.) 3) Must be good with kids, particularly of the 3-5 year old persuasion Dropoff/pickup times We're happy to accommodate your schedule. Typical dropoff times (totally flexible) 8:45am - 11am Typical pickup times 5pm- 8:30pm If you're not sure about booking, please feel free to send us a message first, and we can answer any questions within approximately the response time shown in my profile.
Reseñas

Our black lab stayed with Nathan and Elise for a month in the summer and two weeks this spring. Lots of pictures along the way. Our dog is used to visiting an office and is very social so this was a good fit going to Nathan’s office. His co-workers seem to enjoy having dogs around too.

If I could give five star plus I would! Nathan and Elise were lovely and very understanding of my senior Golden Retriever needs. She had the amazing fortune of being welcomed at Nathan’s work and lived a lovely downtown week. Thanks Nathan and Elise!

We couldn't have asked for a kinder, more genuine and attentive pet sitter for our wiener dog Carl. Nathan and his partner took Carl in as part of the family and actively updated us while we were away with photos and stories. Carl was a bit naughty with his house training and I was thankful that Nathan understood puppy training. We would love to have Carl stay again! Big thanks!
Nathan was very responsive, flexible and easy to deal with. His office is very dog friendly and almost like an indoor dog park. Great experience.
