Availability

Currently I have great flexibility with my availability for pet care! I will be working around my current pup which limits some availability, but otherwise I can do weekdays and weekends. With some notice I am capable of pet or house sitting, usually on weekends only, but I'll do my best to work around week days if necessary.

As a military veteran and active reservist, reliability, punctuality, and responsibility are core parts of who I am. You can trust that I’ll communicate clearly, show up on time, and treat your dog and home with the same respect I give my own. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Whether it’s a simple neighborhood walk, a park visit, a trail hike, or even a run, I ensure the environment is safe, controlled, and suitable for your dog. I’m committed to giving you complete peace of mind while providing your dog with a positive, stress-free experience.

Information Nathan G. would like to know about your pet

It’s important for me to know basic details of your pet such as age and gender. This helps me to have an understanding of their needs. And of course, please provide me with any detail details specific to your pet medically or socially.

A typical day

Walk, fetch, play! Depending on how long we’re together, will be enjoying cuddles and watching TV or it could be out on a hike climbing a mountain! It all depends on what stimulation and activity your dog needs. I love a good patio coffee so we can sit and do people watching!

Pet care experience

Hi I'm Nathan (Nate). I’ve been surrounded by animals since the day I was born and have spent my entire life living with, training, and caring for dogs. I’ve raised and worked with a variety of breeds, including mixed breeds, Labradors, and Cocker Spaniels to name a few. My family has always been active with animals, including family farm working dogs such as sheepdogs and cattle dogs. Through my military service I’ve also spent time around military working dogs, gaining an appreciation for structured training, discipline, and reading canine behavior. I understand the importance of consistency, routine, and reinforcing the training you’ve already put time into. Whether your dog needs calm leadership, high-energy exercise, or patient guidance, I tailor my approach to each dog’s personality and needs. And of course I always enjoy my time around dogs and hope they have fun too!

What a relief to be able to trust someone so completely to come to our house each day we were on vacation, to take our dogs for a walk! Nathan made sure our dogs were well exercised and safe in our absence and we’re delighted to know we can count on him in future too!

Great job for his first time with two big dogs! They both seemed happy and excited to go with him and came back just as happy! Really appreciated seeing the pictures too.
