My Rover teammate, Naomi, and I have ample experience with all the responsibilities that come with caring for dogs and cats, including crate training, exercise routines, and sticking to a feeding schedule. We currently care for two sweet, inseparable dogs - Baloo and Meadow. Since a young age, I've cared for every animal under the sun - from ferrets and hamsters to dogs and cats. I have direct experience with labs, terriers, setters, and other mixed breed dogs. These pets have ranged in age from puppy to senior. Naomi also grew up caring for dogs and cats, which included Australian shepherds (as well as many farm animals).

Safety, trust & environment
Our neighborhood is safe and quiet with little traffic, and our home is tucked away from major roads. On a normal day, we take our dogs on a long walk once in the morning and once in the evening. If your dog enjoys extended outdoors time, we are happy and able to provide it.

Nathan and Naomi are a wonderful dog care couple! They welcomed Kingsley, booming voice and all. Pictures and communication were fantastic and I do not believe Kingsley missed me at all the 4 days he stayed in their care. Highly recommend!
These folks are really kind and loving, and I was confident leaving my pups with them! When I came back home a few days later, they were healthy, happy, and not upset about me being gone for a few days, which is a very good sign! And of course, I got updates and pictures from them while I was traveling!
Nathan has been a lover of dogs his entire life. He has been exposed to many different dogs and many behaviors. He is experienced with all sizes of dogs as well as different temperaments. He has lived with a rescued dog who underwent behavioral training and understands the different needs of dogs. He is compassionate about dogs and will give the best care to any dog in his charge.
I've observed Nathan and his partner(my daughter) adopt an older puppy(Baloo) that was terrified of men and gently bring him to complete comfort with Nathan. In fact, when Nathan is away Baloo gets noticeably down. He is a kind and very responsible person. We are grateful he's apart of our family and I know he would take good care of your pet family. Schedule
On weekdays, we take Baloo and Meadow on several walks/hikes during the day, including in a forest preserve adjacent to our home. On weekends, we like to take them on longer hikes on nearby trails or in Acadia.
