I grew up with animals and have especially loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’m currently in between owning a pet of my own, but until I find my next perfect fit, I enjoy watching friends’ pets and working on Rover. I also have spent a great deal of my time volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a dog and cat companion, and have been exposed to all types of breeds, sizes and temperaments of animals. I am honest, loyal and compassionate, and I give my all to whatever I’m doing. I enjoy a direct communication style so both clients and myself understand all expectations and can easily navigate any issues that may arise. Active listening is key in life, and I use that in my pet-sitting business every day. For example, I want to understand exactly how you play with your dog, and will ask lots of questions so I know exactly what your dog or cat likes and dislikes. My goal is for them to have so much fun that they barely notice when you’re away! I bring with me a ton of knowledge that I’ve gained working with the Humane Society and have learned how to read body language. If a dog needs extra space or time to get to know me, I let them do that, and never impose my agenda on them. However, I might bring a treat or two for extra encouragement, if needed! In short, I learn everything I can from you about your pup’s preferences and then I create a customized care plan specific to your pet’s needs. I currently work from home and can work around any scheduling. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!
