Nathan did a great job house sitting for our senior lab Charlie. He was very responsive, stayed on top of Charlie’s medications, and kept us updated while we were away. We came home to a happy dog and a clean house. Charlie clearly enjoyed his time with Nathan and we’d happily book with him again!

Nathan is always fantastic with his check ins with my dog. He is timely and extremely communicative. He checks on my dog multiple times a week and I have never had an issue. I highly recommend him for any of your pet sitting needs!

Nathan did house sitting for our 2 dogs. He has good communication with updates on our dogs, his overall schedule, and our dogs were well cared for.

Nathan was great with our puppy, and we sincerely appreciated how punctual he was! Will definitely rebook.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this sitter. Before the booking, I clearly explained that my dogs were not to be left alone for more than seven hours during the daytime only, as that is the length of time my spouse and I are away at work. I also instructed the sitter to crate one of the dogs whenever he left the home. Those instructions were not followed. The dogs were left alone for extended periods throughout the stay, and on one evening the sitter remained away until nearly midnight. I ultimately had to contact him and instruct him to return to the home to let the dogs outside. I returned to a home with urine, vomit that had not been properly cleaned, a broken toilet seat, and other cleanliness issues that were unacceptable. The sitter also asked whether I would be interested in working directly with him outside of Rover in the future. While no payment occurred outside the platform, I understood this to mean future bookings could take place off Rover. Some of the issues I discovered upon returning home, including possible property damage, were not things I can definitively attribute to the sitter. However, I became concerned because I had repeatedly confronted him during the stay about his prolonged absences and had to instruct him on multiple occasions to return to the home and care for the dogs. Given the timing, I am concerned about the possibility of retaliation, although I cannot say with certainty what caused those issues. I immediately contacted Rover’s emergency support and was told someone would contact me within 24 hours. As of writing this review, more than two days have passed and I have still not been contacted. Because Rover never followed up as promised, I have not had the opportunity to provide the text messages, timestamps, videos, and photographs documenting my concerns. Despite that, Rover has already declined to reimburse me for this booking. I am disappointed not only with the sitter’s lack of care, but also with Rover’s handling of my complaint and failure to follow through on its stated response timeline.

Nathan was awesome with Duke! His communication was amazing and ability to work with us and adjust was 10/10! Definitely would recommend and definitely will be using him again in the future!
