Our Family has been with Rover for over six years! Charo and Boris are experienced full-time Rover sitters who truly enjoy spending quality time in their home cooking, gardening and spending time with your pet! We (Nathaly, Charo, Boris and Socrates) are a family of four and we all pitch in. We have a six-year-old Pup Cocker Spaniel and Schnauzer named Diego who is very social. Some things to expect with a stay with us: *Special COVID Notice: Everyone in the family has been tested and negative. Please be advised we will continue to keep you and your pup safe by limiting foot traffic in the home and during drop off's and pickup's. -Full-Time Care: We know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog so we guarantee that someone will always be home with your pup when you board them with us. -We worry about Safety: We watch smaller dogs to ensure a smooth and safe introduction amongst pups who are just getting to know each other in a new space. This also helps us keep our home tidy and comfortable for us and the pups. -Secured Space: Our home has an open layout. We can safely see where your dog is from all points of the house. The yard is fully secured so they can run in and out for a potty break or a nap in the couch as they please. We have a designated doggy play area with toys if they want some sun. -Cleanliness Matters!: We feel you shouldn't leave your dog in a place where you wouldn't stay yourself so we make sure to keep our home tidy and maintained so your pup has a comfortable stay. -Baths Please!: We spend so much time with the pups in our couches and beds and we keep them very clean. We understand some pups have sensitive skin so we will ask you but if you allow, we give the pups baths to keep them clean. Its also a trick we've learned to get them all to take a mid-afternoon nap. :) -Routine matters: We understand you've spent time getting your dog on a routine, so we will ask you about your preferences, stick to their diet and make sure they also stick to similar sleeping arrangements as they do at home. We may let them sneak onto one of our beds if you allow. As experienced are we are, puppy eyes still win sometimes hehe. Behavioral: We don't mind a little bit of shyness, sassiness, and attitude. Due to the size limits that we have, we are ok working with dogs who are older or who still need a little bit of time adjusting to a new sitter and new pups! Like humans, they each have their own experiences and ways to communicate. We have many rooms in the house so we will take the time to introduce them and spend time socializing them as needed. The Language we Speak is love: Charo and Bori's English is limited, they understand but Nathaly usually helps with bookings and will make sure everyone at home understands your instructions. During the Stay: Food, meds, bowls, their bed (or crate if they are used to it) and treats is usually more than enough. Dog toys are great but we have plenty! We want you to feel at home! But in order to ensure safety, we put the pups behind a child safety gate when front doors are being opened to avoid any accidents so we will try to make pickup and drop off's as happen as quickly as possible. Two full time sitters! Pups live in a home environment as if they were home. Weve had stays as long as four months and many Clients who consider this home away from home. Big fenced yard to allow lots of play, exercise and sun bathing. No children, we don’t allow foot traffic in our home to ensure a comfy stay! Charo and Boris are Full-time sitters. The children are grown up. Caring for and playing with your pup is their only daily and full-time responsibility. We apologize in advance but we only do Facetime meet and greets in order to ensure the health and safety of our family and your pup. This ensures we don’t have strangers in our home regularly, limits potential incidents where a puppy may run out the door or get overly excited or even fearful with so many new faces around. It’s truly a home environment for them.
