I grew up with a cat and a dog so have always felt comfortable around pets and seek them out wherever I go. I love long walks and have experience walking dogs that require extra exertion (Staffie-lab cross) as well as sitting dogs that need lots of play (cockapoos obsessed with catch) and more troubled rescue dogs (Frenchie terrier crosses) that can either be nervous or difficult around other dogs. I love staying with a pet in their home and am also tidy and mindful of the owner's space. My part time pet lives with my parents so doesn't conflict my dog sitting stints. Although I've had pets as an adult I've only done dog sitting in the last 3 years so have selected that for experience.

Safety, trust & environment
I am only able to pet sit in the owners homes. I'm living with my parents and their Frenchie/Terrier cross who we have had for about a year. We got him from a rescue and while he is behaviourally doing so much better we couldn't accommodate another dog or cat in the home. In terms of safety of me being in an owner's home, I have good references not only for my pet care but also how I look after the property.

I am writing to highly recommend Nathalie as a live-in dog sitter. She has looked after our 5-year-old Cockapoo, Winnie, on several occasions now, and we have been absolutely delighted with her service. Nathalie is incredibly reliable and has been wonderful to work with. She is highly flexible when making arrangements and is a proactive communicator, both during the initial preparations and while we are away. Alongside her excellent care for Winnie, she was also very respectful of our home throughout her stay. Our dog, Winnie, is generally quite relaxed but is very fixated on her walks and playing ball. We felt completely assured at all times that Winnie’s specific needs were being met. It has been a pleasure getting to know Nathalie during our handovers; she is a lovely person who is clearly dedicated to the animals in her care. Nat really put our minds at ease when we needed a dog sitter. She took the time to meet our dog beforehand, asked thoughtful questions, and clearly genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. Our dog instantly loved her, and we really appreciated how thorough and conscientious she was in making sure both our pup and home were well cared for. She kept us updated while we were away, which made everything feel very stress-free. We came home to a happy, tired dog and a spotless house. Since then, we’ve used Nat multiple times because she’s so reliable, communicative, and fantastic with our dog. We’d happily recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter.
Nathalie house sat and looked after our golden cavapoo puppy while we were on holiday and we couldn't recommend her enough! She sent regular updates of our pup which gave us piece of mind, and had full confidence of our pup’s care and safety of our home while we were away. We returned to a clean house and we would gladly have Nathalie back anytime. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and considerate pet/house sitter!

Schedule
I work on freelance projects so fully flexible and can ensure pets get the full attention, play and walks they require. Even when I am working I've been able to work remotely for dog sitting. The nature of my job means there will be occasions when wfh isn't possible but I will update my profile accordingly when I am not available.

- I am fairly active so love dogs that want to go on long walks. That said I also love reading and snuggling with pets but don't be afraid to ask for long walks! I'd like to know how long a dog can be left in advance of booking a sitting and as minimum usually expect leaving a fog for 4 hours to be ok.
