Safety, trust & environment

I take dogs for walks so they can get some exercise and sniff around. Some dogs have lots of energy and want to run. In that case, and with your permission, I can run with your dog. Some dogs just need someone to give them food, water, and a potty break while their humans are at work or away for the day. I can wipe off their paws after the walk and I’ll ALWAYS wipe my feet before entering your home. Whatever your pet needs, just ask.

Information Nate G. would like to know about your pet

You name it! If your dog needs anything special please let me know. I listen carefully and take notes. Tell me what your dog likes and dislikes. I’ll follow whatever instructions you give me. I want you and your dog to be happy with the experience.

A typical day

Whatever your dog needs is what I’ll do. Many of my clients have me scheduled to walk their dog or dogs 3-5 times per week. I arrive at their home at the scheduled time, let myself in, walk the dog or dogs, let myself out, and lock the door behind me. Some clients have me top off the dog food and water. Other clients handle the food and water themselves and I just walk their dogs. Some clients meet me at their front door with the dogs leashed and I take them for a walk and never enter the home. Some clients schedule multiple drop-in visits each day while they’re out of town as an alternative to boarding their dogs. Those drop-in visits usually include giving the dogs food, water, and sometimes medication. Drop-in visits might include a walk or just time in the fenced backyard to play and potty. Some clients book a drop-in visit midday while they’re at work so their dog has some company and a potty break. Whatever your dog needs.

I’m a retired corporate pilot and lifetime dog lover. **LOCAL DISCOUNT**New customers only. I live just east of Blowing Springs Park. If you live within a 5 minute drive of my house (according to Google Maps) I’ll manually discount the rate you see on rover by 20%. If you live within a 10 minute drive of my house I’ll manually discount the rate you see on rover by 10%.** One of my dogs is a 14 year old Newfie who can’t go up or down stairs by himself and can’t hear. So, senior dogs or dogs with special needs are no problem.

Nate was amazing. I am new to the area and don’t trust my senior girls with just anyone. I could tell they liked him from the initial meeting. They had so much fun with their new friend. I loved the pictures he sent. He was very attentive especially with my Yorkie. I highly recommend Nate. Always on time and was great at taking care of walks and anything else we went over. Thank you, Nate. We will be using you again.
