Who's a good dog?
I’m Nate, I'm a well-rounded pet lover. Dogs love me and I love 'em back. Big or small, pupper or old-head, your dog will have fun while behaving when we're together. I own the most sweet, shy one year old Irish Setter named Dublin. He is being fostered with two other Irish Setters so he doesn't get lonely (and destructive) when I work. I dog sit solo so I can work and recreate while sitting. I lived with a pug for 2.5 years (love them), and grew up around dogs. My brother has had big dogs and i would take care of them intermittently. Pets I've taken care of include boxers (Sloan), Rottweiler (Ayla), and a Cane Corso (Ramsey). I've taken care of dozens of other mixed packs. I'm used to nervous pups (like an Australian cattle dog tends to be). I've watched puppies (a Jack Russel named Max), so I'm used to all sizes and energy levels. I welcome all kinds of pups. I also got kitty fever, but didn't get one yet. For walking/drop ins, I'm fine with lock boxes and key pads, since I worked in the inspection business for 5 years. I have glowing references on my profile, is yours next?

I treat your pets like they were my own. When I'm in your space, I want it to look excellent for you when you return. As far as your little loves, I'd take any animal to the vet or vet hospital if they needed it just as I'd hope someone would do for my good boy. I've done that before.

Nate was a joy to work with! He watched our four dogs and kitty for two weeks while we were gone, and he was great about sending pictures and keeping us up to date on everything we were doing. We hope Nate will come back in the future to watch our crazy crew.
Nate was great! He went above and beyond for our pup and took good care of the house.
Nate stayed at our home for 10 days while we were on a family trip to Italy. It was our first time having an in-home sitter and Nate was amazing! He came to meet us and our animals first. He asked so many thoughtful questions and really took the time to understand everyone’s needs. Once we were on the trip he was so great about sending us photos and updates every single day. He even took his time and got our extremely shy cat to come out and say hi! It was such a relief to have someone so reliable in our home to treat our fur babies with such care. We can’t recommend Nate enough and will definitely book him again in the future.
Nate is the best! He was very communicative, personable and knowledgeable about dog’s needs. He did a great job of working with our dogs different personalities and they were sad when he left. He took beautiful care of the house and our dog family. Much appreciated!
Nate did an excellent job taking care of my Bull Terrier Iggy and taking care of my home. Iggy is a bundle of energy and very reactive to other dogs but Nate had no issues with him at all. I came home to a happy pup. He washed the bed sheets, took out the trash, and was very respectful of my home. I'd recommend him for house sitting or working with reactive or stubborn dogs.
Nate is the person you want to look after your pet. He is reliable, kind, prompt, engaged and energetic. The proof is in my dog’s response to his arrival at my home. Franklin took a walk or two to warm up to Nate but is now clearly enthralled:) and if you could hear the lengths he goes to to ensure that his own pet is calm and collected, you would not believe the above and beyond efforts. 200% recommend.

Schedule
I do this to fill up my week. My day job/company I started is hardscaping, and handiwork. Things are slow in this economic contraction. I'm happy to take same-day requests.

- I like (and expect) a dog to be relatively obedient and am pretty good at getting that from dogs, just please let me know if they have any...quirks. Definitely let me know if your dog has bitten anyone. It's not a non-starter for me, I just want to know history so we're all safe.
