Pet care experience
Flexible,reliable,caring pet-friend
I had two dogs growing up - a Jack Russell terrier (Boris) and a Patterdale terrier (Thomas). I've always loved dogs and used to take mine on long walks in fields and forests which I miss. I had a particular bond with Boris who really enjoyed playing hide and seek and cwtching. I've had experience caring for - feeding, cleaning and weighing - two separate litters of newly born puppies (Jack Russell and French Bulldogs). The past few years, and prior to Rover, opportunities to look after pets for friends started arising and I felt honoured that people would think of me when they needed a pet looking after. I've looked after a friends six week year old puppy and then for a few days when she was six months old - a very tiring but rewarding learning curve! Rover has given me many opportunities to meet so many lovely people and their pets. I'm continuously learning and improving professionally as a sitter, watching videos in my spare time so that I can approach bookings confidently, understanding animal behaviour. I have experience with cat care and I also had 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit when I was a kid so some experience with smaller pets. I'm unable to tend to cats due to allergies.

Natasha and Owain did a great job in the heat! Our dog loves their company

Great communication and our dog loved it

Natasha and her partner Owain were wonderful with our dog, Crosby. They looked after Crosby for a week whilst we were on holiday and he had a fabulous time. Having taken the time to do a meet & greet with Crosby beforehand he was then familiar with them both & excited to see them at drop off, which made that process a lot easier. It was also great receiving the regular updates to hear how he was getting on. No doubt Crosby is looking forward to the next time he might be able to stay!

Natasha was great and took great care of my little girl during her boarding for 4 days. Natasha had very good communication and was very welcoming. I very much enjoyed frequent updates and photos through out the boarding process and could she B' thoroughly enjoyed her time with Natasha. I would definitely use Natasha again and recommend her.

Natasha and her Partner have been amazing. They looked after my 13 year old Lab for a week and she had a great time. Thank you so much.

Amazing. Our Border Collie loves Natasha, you can tell from the greeting he gives her! This was the third booking that we had with Natasha. She came and house/dog sat for us when we had to be away for a couple of nights and on all three occasions it went very smoothly. Natasha is great on communication, quick to respond and always there to give us reassurance. She’s happy to adopt Scout’s routines and is very self motivated while looking after him. She also looks after the flat really well, always leaving it spotless and tidy. She’s proved to be entirely trustworthy and is now our go-to sitter. We were lucky to find her, but I worry our glowing review will end up with her being too busy to help out in the future!

Schedule
I am based in Bristol close to St Andrews Park. After a year hiatus from Rover I'm keen to have more dogs in my life again. Unfortunately, my job is full-time and can oftentimes be demanding, hence the break, so I'm only available to keep your dog company through dog boarding and do light walks in the nearby park during the week. Sometimes I need to go into the office but my boyfriend will be at always be at home. I'll let you know about this in advance. I'm available most weekends if your dog is comfortable in other peoples homes and you don't mind them being in a flat (but very close to the park) and they don't mind it either. Please check my calendar or get in touch! If I have looked after your pet previously but my availability is off, please send me a message to check with me directly as I will prioritise you.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I'm attentive, responsible, patient and have experience pet and house sitting for friends and clients. Walking, playing, feeding, cleaning, picking up poop is no issue and I'm confident in understanding pet behaviour and watch a fair few dog training videos. I love getting to know all the pets I am lucky enough to look after and see their different personalities. I'd be keen to let your pet get used to me first and once they know they can trust me we can go for as many walks or play for as long as necessary! If your pet is happy then I'm happy. I will also take good care of your home if it is a house sitting booking you need. I live with my boyfriend (who is also on Rover) so please note this before booking. He will be very happy to meet any new dogs and 99.99% of the time dogs adore him but I do need this to be reciprocated! We live in a 2 bed flat with no accessible garden. It's spacious enough but we have the advantage of being very close to St Andrews Park for toilet breaks. I will dog-proof the flat prior to visits but please let me know if they have any interesting habits so i can lock necessary items away/keep some doors locked. Always happy to meet and greet beforehand time willing! I have a car so can get about in and around Bristol to met new pets or take yours for walks in larger parks like Ashton Court. I can send updates with pictures/videos throughout if needed so that you know your pet is happy and being cared for. No cats or very large dogs, sorry :(
A typical day
I can provide toilet breaks throughout the day and a walk before work, at lunch and after work. I'll play with them as much as I can but I know some dogs will go for days if they have a chance and so I am happy to say no to the cheekier ones when necessary. Good behaviour is always rewarded and I have confidence in dealing with those that can be a bit more difficult. I love long walks and love it when other dogs do too - If your dog is well behaved and fine off the lead, great, but no problem if they're not either. I enjoy training and have learnt a lot from programmes, videos and experience but won't try anything unless you're happy for me to.
