Pet care experience
Friendly and Passionate Anthrozoologist
I am a passionate and friendly dog lover and Anthrozoologist (I have a First Class Masters degree in the study of human-animal relationships) currently living and working in the centre of Oxford. I have always been an avid animal lover and have worked and volunteered with a number of animal freedom and animal rescue organisations over the years (including the Blue Cross and Kenya Society for the Protection & Care of Animals (KSPCA)). I am confident when it comes to handling, grooming, training, and socialising dogs and have undertaken a dog walking training course that also covers first aid. Pet care has always been a part of my life. I have grown up with dogs (I am missing my three dogs (pictured) back in Kenya so much!) and helped raised two litters of puppies. Any job I take on would be a natural continuation of the pet care that I have grown up doing. I also love drawing and have done pet portraits for a number of my past clients (examples of some of my work are in my photos) - do inquire if you would like to commission one!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
If caring for your pet I will be sure to ask you detailed questions about their care, likes and dislikes beforehand, including: How is the dog trained? Is the dog fearful or confident? Do certain actions trigger an aggressive response? What do they love most? Are they comfortable socialising with other dogs and strangers? And so on. I will make sure I am fully briefed on your pet so I can best care for them. I love to make a fuss of dogs, am very attentive (I will make sure to check up on them often), and as an avid walker will be eager to go on as many walks as you would like with them during the stay.
Ratings and reviews
Natasha took wonderful care of our dog Erik. She communicated brilliantly, kept us regularly informed, and it was clear that Erik really enjoyed his time with her. We’d happily recommend her!

Natasha did a wonderful job looking after our dog. She fav e regular updates and photos and took her for lots of long walks. Eevee was super happy to be with her and it made our stay very relaxing. We are very happy to recommend her.

Natasha did a fantastic job of looking after our dog and two cats. She was easy to communicate with, asked questions when needed and kept us up to date with pictures and information about how the pets were doing. She dealt well with the unexpected, such as one cat disappearing overnight. Our dog even got a day out in the country! All the pets seemed happy and relaxed when we got home, and the house was cleaner and tidier than when we’d left! I would definitely use Natasha again.

Natasha is a wonderful dog sitter. My dog absolutely loved her. She sent us regular updates with pictures and it was clear he had a lovely time being in her company. I would definitely use her services again and would recommend her.

Natasha spent the day with my two little corgis, and she looked after them so well. They got lots of attention and walks in the sunshine, and were spoiled with kongs and snacks (all allowed!). They are clearly affectionate toward her and comfortable in her presence, and even my more nervous pup settled right down with her. I got lots of photos and updates throughout the day, so had no worries at all. She also looked after the house really well and kept everything nice and tidy. We’re excited to have found Natasha and look forward to having her watch our pups again for a longer duration while we are on holiday.

Natasha looked after our much loved dogs Magic and Ruby while we were away for a week. She was incredibly attentive to their needs and immediately struck up a strong rapport with both dogs. She took care to understand their needs and routines so that she could mirror those in our absence. We are immensely grateful to Natasha for the care she gave to them in our absence ❤️❤️

Schedule
I currently work remotely from home and only go into London once every two weeks for work. Currently I am not allowed to have dogs where I am staying, so unfortunately cannot do boarding or daycare at mine, but I have a car and am very happy to come to you and look after your dog in their own home where they are most comfortable.
