Information Natasha K. would like to know about your pet

The pet medications routine is most important to know and their health needs is my first concern. I have given pets (cats/dogs) pill medication by mouth but not injections yet. I also have applied ear wash and ear medication. I need to know if the dog has a history as a biter. A "nipper" I can handle but biter I find scary and unpredictable. I need the owner to tell me how they have coped with the situation . I do know how when to back off and let the pet chill out and calm down. I realize they might be scared or another dog is triggering the behavior and can remedy by getting a closer grip of the leash and move the pet away from the situation as soon as possible..

A typical day

Fun activities such as fetch, stick, ball catching, seem to be a favorite of my pet clents. A good walk is such an important form of excersise. I would communicate with the owners to determine what the dogs preferences and patterns, habits, are so I don't disrupt the dogs routine. Main goal is not to traumatize the animal but to create trust. I would need to know if the dog has nipping and or biting issues from the past and will it need a muzzle or another source of protection from other dogs. I will strive to locate close by dog parks. I find that the socializing of the dog park is a treat and a good stimulation for the dog and it lets the dog experience different smells, potty time and interact with other dogs. I also live near numerous parks but the walking as my daily routine would be the best source of exercise and stimulation for the pet.

Tinksbinks Pet Care

Pet care experience

Over my lifetime I have cared for animals of all kinds (chickens, dogs, rabbits, lizards, cats (many cats) and currently own an elderly Russian Blue, parrots, owned a Quaker Parrot and African Ringneck for over 15 years, and my yard has 5 hummingbird feeders, and numerous goldfish in my pond, in my front yard. I am retired and have an open schedule for overnight or long term pet sitting, if needed. My own experience trying to find someone to care overnights and long term for my cat(s) have been difficult to find and I see a real need out there for this service. I walk approximately five miles a day so walking with a dog makes sense. My experience giving medications to cats and dogs are (pills only) but open to learning other methods of applying medications for pets. I am also open to long distance care if necessary and could provide once both parties are in agreement. I love animals and feel I would be a reliable, responsible, conscientious and most caring friend to your pet during your absence.

Natasha is outstanding. We have used her several times to watch our reactive dog. She goes above and beyond every time. She keeps in touch, sends pictures, communication is awesome! I cannot say enough good things!

Tasha was perhaps the best sitter we have ever had for Onion. She helped him attend our wedding and was so attentive and detailed and caring… it was genuinely unbelievable. If it weren’t for her, the day would have been so much more difficult, and she allowed us to include my best bud into the ceremony seemlessly. 100% recommend, Tasha is the absolute best!!!

Natasha is fantastic! She has watched our dogs several times before and we would definitely have her back in the future. We feel very at ease with Natasha and Rudy loves her. She sent regular updates and photos and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation.
