Safety, trust & environment

Creating a Safe & Loving Environment: Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Having raised Lucy from a puppy in my home, I understand exactly what it takes to create a secure, nurturing environment where dogs can thrive. In My Home: - Secure Environment: Ground floor flat with fully enclosed garden - no risk of escapes and safe outdoor access - Pet-Proofed Space: My home is already dog-ready with all hazards removed and pet-safe areas established - Supervised Socialisation: Lucy is well-trained and friendly, but I always supervise interactions to ensure both dogs are comfortable - Established Routines:Regular meal times, walks, and play sessions to maintain structure - Family: Husband and 2 teenage children (17 and 14) living at home. Trust & Communication: - Regular Updates:Photo and text updates throughout the day so you always know how your pet is doing - Emergency Preparedness: Local vet contact information readily available, and I’ll contact you immediately if any concerns arise - Respect for Routines: I’ll follow your pet’s specific feeding schedule, walking routine, and any special requirements - Key Security: Your keys and personal information are kept completely secure My Approach: Having trained Lucy and grown up with multiple dogs, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. I take time to learn your dog’s specific preferences, comfort zones, and any behavioral quirks to ensure they feel completely at home with us.

Information Natasha K. would like to know about your pet

- Any medical conditions, medications, or dietary requirements - How they behave with other dogs and strangers - Are they reliable off-lead on Tooting Common? - Emergency vet details and your contact information - Normal feeding times and walking routine - Any specific commands or house rules - Favorite toys or activities - Areas of the house that are off-limits

A typical day

I love taking dogs for long, energising walks on Tooting Common - both on and off lead depending on your dog’s training and comfort level. The common is perfect for letting dogs explore, sniff, and really stretch their legs. Back at home, I enjoy playing interactive games whether we’re in the flat or garden. I’m always up for a good game of fetch and will happily throw the ball as many times as your dog wants! I also incorporate basic training techniques throughout the day using positive reinforcement. This keeps dogs mentally stimulated while reinforcing good behaviour - whether we’re working on recall, sit-stay commands, or just general manners. Every dog is different, so I adapt the activities to match their energy level and personality. Some dogs love a vigorous ball session, while others prefer a more relaxed explore around the common. I make sure each dog gets the right mix of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and attention they need to have a happy, fulfilling day.

Pet care experience

As a lifelong dog lover who’s grown up with dogs since childhood, I understand that your furry family member deserves the same love and attention they get at home. My Experience: - Current Dog Parent:Proud owner of Lucy, my beloved 5-year-old Jackapoo who I’ve raised and trained since she was a puppy - Lifelong Dog Lover: Grew up with 10 dogs over the years - golden retrievers and doodles - always having 2 companions at a time. - Puppy to Adult Care: Experienced with dogs at every life stage, from energetic puppies to calm, mature companions. My Home: Your dog will stay in my ground floor flat with a secure, enclosed garden - perfect for safe play and potty breaks. Lucy is well-socialised and loves meeting new friends, but I’m also happy to provide one-on-one attention if your pup prefers it. Please be aware that I also have a family at home, includes my husband and 2 teenage children (17 and 14) - if your dog is coming to my flat there could be 4 people plus Lucy, my dog, at home at any time. My Approach: Having trained Lucy from puppyhood, I understand the importance of maintaining routines and positive reinforcement. Your dog will receive plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. I’ll send regular updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having with us.

Natasha was absolutely great! From the moment I left Otto with her, I felt completely at ease and knew he was in safe, caring hands. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was being so well looked after, and it was clear he had the best time with her. Otto came back happy, relaxed, and very well cared for, which says it all. We will absolutely return to Natasha again in the future whenever we need someone to look after Otto. Highly recommend!
