i’ll smooch your pooch!
I’ve had family dogs since I was young, mainly rowdy pitties. Before coming to Camp Lejune, I lived in Durham working at an Animal Hospital. At the animal hospital I was the primary caretaker of boarding pets. Walking them, feeding them, taking them for potty breaks, giving them baths, administering medication, observing and correcting their behavior while they played together, and giving them a million cuddles before bed. My experience and love for hanging out with furry friends made me the designated babysitter for family and friends so I’ve cared for every dog of every breed, size, and temperament.

I can’t say enough great things about Natasha and the care she provided for Ponyo and Tarot while I was away. She stayed in my home and treated it—and my pets—with the utmost respect and love. From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving everything in their hands. Ponyo and Tarot were clearly well cared for, happy, and relaxed when I returned. Natasha followed all care instructions perfectly and took extra time to make sure both girls got plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. The regular updates and photos were such a thoughtful touch and made being away so much easier. On top of taking excellent care of my pets, she left my home spotless!! honestly, it may have been cleaner than when I left! It’s clear she takes a lot of pride in her work and genuinely cares about the animals (and homes) they look after. Highly, highly recommend—Ponyo, Tarot, and I are so lucky to have found Natasha and on such short notice!
Natasha did so good with Bella! Bella absolutely loved her stay! Natasha had great communication and sent lots of pictures! Definitely will re book her again! :)

Schedule
I’m not currently working so I have all day to dedicate to taking care of your pets. In August, when school starts, I’ll do online college but because it’s remote I’ll still have an open schedule. I’m a homebody but love to be active. I spend most of my time outside, in the sun, in the yard, reading or birdwatching with my family dog. The times I do leave the house are to find a nice trail or park to go for a long walk.

When in my own home dogs are free to roam and welcome on furniture and will have constant supervision. When staying in a clients home I expect to follow all of their house rules they’ve established and stick the routine their dog is comfortable with to keep being around someone new as stress free as possible.
A typical day
I love getting to know every dog’s personality! Some are super high energy and require multiple long walks a day or more mental stimulation with puzzles and games. And some are cuddlebugs who want to just have someone to hang out with all day. As someone who runs, walks, and goes to the gym daily but also does the NYT crossword and reads everyday I’m happy to adjust my days to your dogs’ needs! :)
