Pet care when you need it
I started house sitting a wonderful dog named Roxy in high school and I've always had at least one animal or lived with one (bearded dragons, cats, dogs). Having more big dogs recently has forced me to learn better, more compassionate training skills. I've even had experience birthing and rehoming 10 puppies. I've learned a happy dog is an active dog. Our 2 big dogs love adventures as much as I do and insist on at least one out of the city adventure every week. It's basically impossible for me to resist 😉 I've learned better how to stay grounded, calm, and consistent with any behavior I'm aiming to change. And I've seen slow and steady improvement. Consistency and getting everyone in the house on board is key to a well trained dog.

I think it's important to follow the schedule and cues that each, unique pet is used to. The more you share with me, the more confidence I have in how to care for them. Knowing their schedule and training you've done so far (including what you're working on) gives me confidence to handle new situations as well. I believe that you know what's best for your pet. I also know that other people THINK they know what's best for your pet. I will run by you anything I am not 100% sure you would approve of. I understand the risk it is to leave someone you don't know that well to take care of such an important family member. My desire is to make you feel as safe with me as possible. That means I will be available via phone anytime you need anything from a cute picture to a more vulnerable conversation about your worries. If I don't answer, please text me with how soon you'd like me to get back to you. I want you to be able to trust me with your troublesome puppy as much as your beloved young-at-heart friend, and I will show that in as many ways that I can.

I almost don’t want to give Natasha the rating she DESERVES because I selfishly want to keep her as my doggos auntie (walker) for forever! She’s very communicative and has a way with reactive dogs. I feel comfortable having her in my house as well. Added bonus of pet portraits 😍
Always looking out for the health and well being of Xander, up to and including poop consistency.

Schedule
I'm self employed and work from home so my schedule is flexible for walks and playtime. I'm available for house-sitting on weekends. Longer trips we can discuss situationally. If I do a great job for you, tipping helps me cover Rover fees. 😉
