I will always ask to meet you and your pets prior to you paying and booking a stay. Comfortability is the number one priority, especially when it comes to your pets. This gives us a chance to ask any questions we have for one another and for your pets to get know me a little bit. One meet and greet is standard but please request more, if you feel your pets need it. While I’m at your home I am there to provide your pet with love and care, just like I do for my own pets. I want you to be worry free going out of town knowing your pets are happy in my care. We will discuss a more detailed day to day schedule specific to your pet’s needs during the meet and greet. As a standard I do one daily check-in and if requested I will send photos of your pet along with those. If you would like extra check-ins, please request them. You will be notified immediately if there is an emergency of any kind. I do ask for at least one emergency contact that is in town, if you have more that’s great, if you don’t have one, we can discuss what would happen if something came up. I always ask for vet information, if you do not have a specific one, I will go to WestVet Boise 24/7 Animal Emergency and Specialty Center located on Chinden Blvd, if it’s necessary. If there is a closer 24-hour pet hospital I will use that one.
Information Natasha D. would like to know about your pet
We will go over a lot of information during the meet and greet including but not limited to feeding, sleeping, potty, and walking schedules. If your pet needs medications please let me know, I have given cats and dogs meds many times, I am familiar with oral medication, topicals on the skin, ear drops, and eye drops. * I am unable to administer injections. * I know things happen and pets have accidents, if your pet suddenly needs something extra while I am staying that we did not discuss during the meet and greet please message me so we can go over it as soon as possible prior to the stay. Be sure anything you want your pet to have while I am caring for them is available to me, this includes food, medications, treats, toys and anything else you can think of. Your pet’s safety is my number one priority, I absolutely need to know if your pets will try to escape the backyard or bolt out the front door, I will do supervised potty breaks if necessary and I grew up with front door escape artists so we can discuss what I do to prevent that or if you have an alternative way in the house like a garage or side entrance. I like to be aware of chewers, "everything eaters" or counter surfers. I ask that doors are shut to anywhere in the house pets are not allowed to be while you are away, but I will want to know where to double check they can’t get in. Walks and Weather: If your dog wants to walk, I will walk rain, snow, or shine. I will not take your dog out in extreme weather conditions, no thunder/lightning storms, no hailstorms, no blizzards, and no extreme heat or cold, (>85 or <25). Other Questions: Are pets allowed on the furniture? Do they sleep in the bed with you? Are they kenneled while home alone or at night? If there is a pet door, do you close it up at night or do you keep it open for them? How many hours are they ok by themselves/ between potty breaks? How long/far do they go on walks? Are they reactive to people or other animals in the neighborhood? Are they treat motivated and are you ok with me using food as a motivator on walks? ***Please do not schedule other people to come to the house while I am there. Weekly/ bi-weekly housekeepers or lawn care is ok but please no contractors, electricians or plumbers, etc. (Unless it is an emergency and please let me before the booking).
A typical day
Animals are the most entertaining creatures on this planet, and I love that I get to hang out with them on a daily basis. I enjoy going on walks myself so if your pet does too, we will be best friends the first day I get there. I will walk them in the neighborhood or take them to a trail. I am happy to play with them anytime of the day, if they like toys, fetch, or if they have their own thing. Then when your pet is ready to relax and cuddle on the couch, I’ll be there for them. DOG PARKS: I require a dog to have been going to the same dog park with other dogs for at least 3-6 months or more before I will take them myself, the dog must have good recall for me take them off leash, if you are unsure or haven’t tried this before with someone else, we can do it together in a meet up or I will be happy to just walk them on leash in the neighborhood.

I started pet sitting through Rover in 2022 and it’s one of my favorite things I get to do. I've cared for a variety of animals from cats and dogs to turtles, birds, fish, and even backyard chickens. A little about my own pets: I have a 16yr old chihuahua named Lola, and two 3yr old cats named Jack and Davy. My mom and I live together so, while I'm away she helps me take care of them. I've always loved all animals. I take each opportunity to care for an animal and treat them as if they were my own pet. I will ensure your pet is well cared for and loved for however long I get to be with them. It's care you can count on!
Reviews

Natasha watched our two cats for a week while we were out of town. Everything went smoothly and she shared lots of photos to show our cats were well taken care of. When we returned, the house was as clean as we left it and everything had been attended to. We expect to hire her again.
Natasha did a great job watching our dog at our house and keeping him calm and relaxed. I would recommend her to anyone.
Natasha did a great job watching our dog in our house. I would recommend her to anyone.

Natasha watched our dog and four cats while we were away for a few days and everything went great. Our dog, who is pretty skiddish, even warmed up to her and let her pet him. We definitely plan to use Natasha again for our next trip. Thank you!
