We treat every pup we watch as though they are our own. We absolutely love dogs, and will go out of our way to provide the best care possible.

Information Natasha D. would like to know about your pet

Let me know in advance about any behaviors or needs your pup may have! The only requirement I have for any dogs we bring into our home is that they must get along with our dog! Otherwise I'm happy to accommodate special needs and behaviors to the best of my ability.

A typical day

We always start each day with a nice long walk, followed by breakfast and some play/cuddle time! My husband and I both work West Coast hours, so our work days do not begin until noon, which allows us valuable time in the morning to provide good activity and mental stimulation for our pup and any pups we watch. Our afternoons tend to be pretty low-activity, as this is when we both have meetings and work we need to accomplish, but we use our breaks to provide more playtime and walks for the pups. In the evening we eat dinner, and after we finish our work hours we relax and play/cuddle with the pups for a bit, followed by a potty break before bed, then we settle in for the night. All this being said, if a pup we are watching is used to a certain routine we do attempt to stick to their known routine/schedule to the best of our ability!

Pet care experience

My name is Natasha, and I am very passionate about caring for animals - I even worked for a rescue for many years! Part of why I love caring for animals with Rover is because I get to know and love so many new furry friends. I promise to treat your pets like my own, and give them love and care while you are away! I'm located in Amherst, on the border of Merrimack, and while I cannot offer boarding at this time as I have two young kids and a pup who has only been with us about 6 months and wouldn't do well yet with other pets in the home, I still would love to get the opportunity to spoil other animals in my area with love. I will treat your pets with respect and affection, and I am always happiest when I have a furry friend by my side. Please reach out with any questions, I look forward to meeting you and your four legged family members!

Writing this follow-up review in case Tasha decides to do more dog-sitting in her new home on the East Coast! Tasha and Terrance took care of my two (then three, once I met and married a guy who also had a dog! 🙈) dogs exclusively for the past 2+ years. They took amazing care of the pups: never booking them alongside other people's dogs, sending me frequent updates, and just loving them as if they were their own. Selfishly, I'm very sad that Tasha decided to start a new life so far away from Seattle area, since now I have to find a new sitter and am rather stressed about it! But also am obviously very happy for them and wishing them a fantastic life at the new place. 🤗 Anyway - if you are someone who is considering Tasha as a dog sitter, don't hesitate, she is an absolutely amazing one and you're very lucky to have found her!

Natasha and her husband took wonderful care of our dog, who seemed a little sad to go when we left their place because she had such a good time. They asked all the right questions to show that they really are thinking of our dog as their own, and we already have our next stay with them booked!

Tasha and Terrance took great care of my two English Springer Spaniels, keeping me stress-free with frequent picture updates. My pups quickly made themselves at home at their place! They are strong, energetic, and poorly trained (despite 2 puppy classes!..), so I was very nervous about being able to find somebody who would be able to handle them safely outside and would not mind their boisterous behavior at home. I particularly appreciated the fact that Tasha does not book dogs from multiple households at the same time - a very common practice among other sitters. I'm very grateful to Tasha for my worry-free weekend away and she will be the first I ask for help with my dogs in the future.
