I work part-time with a flexible schedule, so I am able to adjust to each pets individual needs. For walks or drop-ins I like to have a 1-2 hour window of time you would like the visit in. Currently I am unable to stay full time at someone’s house due to my businesses; however I can adjust per household to be gone no more than 4-8 hrs at a time. Please just let me know your preference.

I have two dogs of my own in my home, so dogs staying with me must be dog friendly and comfortable with big dogs (Great Dane and a Borzoi!). We have yard with a 6ft privacy fence and dogs are welcome to be on the furniture (if parent allows), sleep in the bed, and have plenty of toys and bones to chew on. Crating is also available when I am out of the house if desired. I cannot take dogs with mobility limitations due to stairs to come in and out of the house, however I am happy to come watch them in your home.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs for their visit. I can incorporate extra exercise, medications, grooming, etc into their visit to ensure they get the best care possible. Please Note: Drop-ins and Walks more that 5 miles away -there is an additional $5/visit charge to cover gas and drive time. House sitting - base rate covers dinner to breakfast services (exceptions apply). For additional time/services please discuss with me so I can work around my schedule ?
A typical day
Every pet is unique, so I try to tailor my visits to their unique personalities. For the more energetic types, I love to play fetch, go for walks and visit parks. For the quiet types, sometimes they get the most out of a couch cuddle session or doing some interactive treat toys.

Pet care experience
I am a true dog professional! It’s my passion! I have a bachelors degree in Animal Science which led me to manage a large luxury boarding facility for a time. This is where I became a jack-of-all-trades, working boarding, daycare, grooming, dog walking, training, etc. I now own a grooming salon with locations in West Des Moines and Grimes! I am comfortable administering insulin, medications and I’m Canine First Aid trained. I’ve met hundreds of pups and know each one is an individual. My goal is to always treat them like one of my family.
