If I could live on an “island of dogs”, I probably would. I’ve cared for my own dogs for more than 20 years and have always considered them family. Occasionally I helped friends with boarding. I recently lost my pooch, and while I’m not ready to welcome another one into my life yet, I deeply miss the companionship of a four-legged friend. That’s why I decided to join Rover: I have plenty of love and care to give, and I’d be delighted to share it with your dog while you’re away. I work from home and only need my computer, which gives me plenty of flexibility. I can be there for meals on time, regular walks, companionship throughout the day, and the familiar routines that help your dog feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I’m active and love walking and hiking, if your pooch loves to be active. If your dog prefers to curl up and nap, I’m equally happy to keep things peaceful and quiet. For those who enjoy playing but aren’t big walkers, I love creating simple games at home, such as hide-and-seek or finding their favorite toys. I’m responsible, committed, caring, and respectful of other people’s homes. I keep my own extremely clean and tidy, and I’ll treat yours with the same care. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog and home with someone else. My goal is for you to feel confident that your dog is safe, loved, well cared for, and receiving plenty of attention until you return.
