Pet Boarding / quiet river property
Our senior rescued pup has passed away in December 2024. Your pet will be the only one in the house. We live on 3 acres right across Stewiacke River. 3 min drive to a dog friendly Stewiacke River Park or 10 min drive to a fenced doggy playground. Various trails around to explore. We have experience with senior and special needs dogs (food allergies, recovering after surgeries, etc). Your pet will be treated as a family member, with respect and love.

Our Gracie was very well cared for beyond our expectations. This is the first time that we have been able to leave our dog and not worry she was returned to us to us in great shape. I would not hesitate to leave Gracie with this couple again they treated her like their own. The communication was excellent lots of pictures and descriptions of her day.
Nataliya was amazing with my 2 lagottos! She was quick to respond to communication, was thorough in learning about Ruby and Chuckles and loved them like her own. Would highly recommend and will be contacting her in the future!
Thank you Nataliya and Jason for taking such good care of Sophie and Riley! They absolutely love running around your beautiful big yard and all the fun healthy foods you share with them. 💖 And thank you for sending me photos of the pooches enjoying their stay with you while I was away and for the surprise bag of dog treats we found packed in with their things when we got home!

Schedule
We both work from home and we don't socialize a lot, so your pet will never be left alone. We will be together all the time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
House is on a quiet road across the river. 3 acres. No fence. Your pet will never go outside unsupervised, will use a leash if needed. Household is quiet, no other pets, no kids, no parties, no smoking. Fireplace is lit every night for a cozy atmosphere. Your pet can sleep in our bed at night. We have soft dog stairs for an easy access to the couches or our bed. We have raised food and water bowls that keep senior dogs or dogs with arthritis comfortable. Last year we rebuilt one of our decks so the stairs are longer and lower than average. Also we put a wooden gate on that deck so your pup can not escape.
A typical day
We will go for walks as many times as your pet wants. If your pet is energetic we will play games and run around the yard and dog park. If your pet is a couch potato then we will snuggle and cuddle on the couch or bed.
